My car is kinda old and did not come with any of that fancy touchscreen stuff. I was getting tired of trying to use my phone while driving, which is not safe and also super annoying. I wanted something that could let me use maps, music, and calls without holding my phone like a caveman. Saw this little screen thing and thought, alright, maybe this will help. Just needed it to be easy to use and not cost a fortune.Setting it up was not too bad. It plugged into the car lighter thing and turned on right away. The screen is clear enough and big enough to see without squinting. I got my phone hooked up through wireless Android Auto, and it worked after a few tries. The mount is a little janky though, took a few tries to get it to stick right without wobbling.One thing that kinda bugged me is the sound. If you do not run it through your car speakers, it sounds a little tinny, like a phone in a cup or something. Also, sometimes the screen gets a bit of glare if the sun hits it, so you gotta tilt it just right. Not deal breakers, just kinda small annoying stuff.But hey, it does what I needed. Now I can use maps and music and all that without messing around with my phone. Makes driving a little easier and I do not feel like I am living in the year 2002 anymore. Not perfect, but for the price, it works. Just do not expect it to be like some fancy built-in car system.

Works great most of the time
I bought this after having gotten used to newer rental cars that come with Carplay installed, and embedded displays. I’ve used s Garmin GPS for years, but was getting tired of the small, “cartooney” display. This does a fairly credible job of duplicating the utility of “built in” Car play displays. Once connected (by starting tie car) it automatically connects to your iPhone and begins playing music, or whatever you were last listening to, and displays a photographic map using Google Maps (I’m not a big fan of Google anything, but their maps are good.) Anyhow, most of the time it works great. Once in a evoke it reverts to a non photo display, which requires opening its settings to fix. And on rare occasions it won’t connect at all, requiring a reset in settings. But 95% of the time it works great, and I’m happy with it. I can’t address the back up camera, as it’s a little inconvenient to install in my Toyota Highlander – it would require removing the interior panel on the lift gate, so I haven’t bothered yet. But even without that, I’m happy with this device. Recommend

This was perfect for me! The dash cams are good quality but not like really really good quality. but I feel I don’t need the best of best quality in order to film my drives everyday. The speaker was good it connected to my pixel very quickly. I was impressed by the stickiness of the adhesive sticker thing that connects the car to the device. It has stayed really well. If you want to install the back up/back dash cam properly then you have to drilll a hole in the back of your car and also connect the red wire to your reverse light. However I did not care to do it properly as I don’t have time for it. So I slammed my trunk door onto the wire and called it a day. Lol. then I let the black wire through my trunk into my back seats and then connected it to the device. The reverse camera doesn’t automatically come up with I put into reverse like it would had I installed it properly. but I can just access the back dash cam though the device before putting the car not reverse and that does the trick.
