Easy to set up and it works!
We purchased this to replace a different brand that didn’t work very well. We have a German Shepherd dog, so you can imagine the hair and floofs that gather in corners and under chairs. This Eufy has a roller brush as well as a spinning brush to sweep up debris. My Eufy is self-emptying and its docking station cuts any hair or thread wrapped around its front roller brush. I am actually amazed at how well it works to keep my LVP flooring and area rugs clear of hair and crumbs. I enjoy its little wiggle dance while backing into its docking station to empty. 🙂

Excellent Product, Game Changer or so I thought… Update one year later
Update to My eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Review (Originally Posted August 2024)I originally posted a glowing review of the eufy L60 in August 2024. At the time, I was genuinely thrilled with how quiet, efficient, and easy to use it was. It handled pet hair well, mapped my home quickly, and felt like a great value—especially with an Amazon coupon that brought the price under $300.But just over a month in—literally a day or two past the return window—the vacuum started having issues docking. It would spin in place trying to align with the charging base, fail repeatedly, and eventually run the battery completely dead. Once that happened, I learned something I wish I’d known from the start: if the battery is fully dead, the vacuum won’t charge, even when manually placed on the dock. There’s no charging port on the unit itself, and it can’t “wake up” to begin charging unless it already has some power. This essentially renders it non-functional if it ever fully dies.I reached out to eufy support, and they were helpful. Since I missed the Amazon return window by just a couple of days, they shipped me a refurbished replacement. That unit arrived with minor scuffs and even someone else’s debris inside, but I set it up anyway. Unfortunately, after a few days, the same docking issue occurred again. Support then sent me a replacement battery. Once I swapped in the new battery—which had a partial charge—the vacuum was able to dock and charge as expected. Problem solved… or so I thought.A week ago (July 2025), it happened again. The unit must’ve failed to dock while I wasn’t home, drained completely, and once again became unresponsive—even when manually docked. Swapping in the previously used battery (which still held a charge) immediately fixed the issue. This confirms the flaw: the eufy L60 cannot begin charging from a completely dead state. The only fix is to insert a charged battery, which is not a realistic or acceptable expectation for most users.Given this recurring issue and the lack of a basic design solution like a charging port or backup method, I can no longer recommend the eufy L60. It’s a great product when it works, but this glaring defect can turn it into a frustrating and useless brick with no warning. Unless future models address this flaw, I’d advise looking elsewhere.Review of My eufy L60 Robot VacuumI’m thrilled with my eufy L60 Robot Vacuum—it’s been a game changer for keeping my home clean. One of the first things I noticed is how quiet it is, even on the highest setting. It’s far less intrusive than traditional vacuums, and I can barely hear it working from other rooms.Setting it up was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and I had it mapping my house in just a few minutes. The app is incredibly user-friendly and intuitive, making the whole process effortless. While the retail price is around $400, I snagged it for just under $300 with an Amazon coupon, which feels like a great deal. The eufy L60 maneuvers around my home with ease, even handling tight spaces and tricky spots with confidence. It only got stuck once on a USB cord, but it alerted me immediately, and I was able to resolve it quickly. The zone and room controls are a fantastic feature. I can now schedule cleaning for specific rooms or high-traffic areas, which wasn’t an option with my previous robot vacuum. This has made a big difference in how I manage cleaning tasks.Handling pet hair is another area where the eufy L60 shines. I have dogs that shed quite a bit, and this vacuum tackles the hair without any issues. Maintenance is mostly automated, but I do need to perform a bit of hands-on cleaning every few days. This involves tipping the vacuum over, removing any loose strings or debris from the brushes, and then setting it back upright and pressing continue. It takes about 45 minutes to clean an area that would take me 10-15 minutes with a traditional vacuum. But honestly, the time it takes is worth it for the freedom to do other things while the vacuum works. Plus, its stylish and sleek design blends well with my home décor without standing out.I’m also interested in trying the new eufy X10 Pro Omni, which offers mopping and many more features. However, at $800, it’s a bit out of my budget right now. I’m working towards getting one so I can test it out and see how it compares.Overall, the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum has been an excellent investment, offering convenience and performance that has made my home cleaner with minimal effort.

This really sucks!
This vacuum is awesome. It is replacing my old Shark which finally could not connect to the WiFi anymore. This has stronger suction power, even on just the standard power, not even turned to turbo. The little tower on top of it prevents it from going under only a few items in my home. But it is nice that it doesn’t bang into walls to turn around. It comes up to an item, slows down and then turns.I did have to set up two no go zones, which is very easy to do once I figured it out on the app. Because it got stuck up under my headboard one time so I made that a no go zone. Our bed sits very low to the ground with only about 3 inches so you can’t really get under it.I like the bag dump system versus the old vacuum I had which you just pushed the button and all the dust went into the trashcan blowing half of it up in your face at the same time. So this is very nice.I have had this a few weeks now and I did look at a YouTube video on how to navigate the app. It does so much more than my old vacuum did and it really is nice. The noise is not any louder than the other one. This one stays longer to empty on the base because it also has a little cutter that cuts the hair out of the roller. This is great because of dog hair that would continually get trapped on my old vacuum.I think this vacuum is well worth the money which some of the others were so much more expensive. Battery life seems to be about right for the amount of time that it vacuums and then of course it goes to recharge and comes back out to finish the job. The mapping is awesome and is very detailed, and you can even see where the vacuum is on the map and watch it moving if it is rolling at the time. This comes in very helpful if it is stuck somewhere.I definitely recommend this vacuum. We named her Berta for the maid on “Two and a Half Men”.

Edit: BEST robot vacuum that I have ever owned for hair. After several months of use, there is not a single hair that is tangled in the brush. Great job Eufy!Going to buy a second one once they go on sale for upper floor of our house. My thoughts belowPROS-The auto hair cutter/detangler is a very unique feature of this vacuum and has withstood tons of my wife’s hair with no problems thus far.-Replacement parts are readily now available (this is a very important consideration for robot vacuums)-Eufy app is great. Had no issues defining rooms once preliminary map was made. Haven’t encountered any significant bugs. Appreciate the “number of uses” and “time spent cleaning” metrics especially.-Suction power is excellent. Have not noted any issues with it leaving behind anything significant/measurable.CONS-No extra replacement parts are included in the box (a small gripe)-Once, the vacuum got lost and abandoned current task, returning home-As expected, the base station is quite loud when emptying out the vacuum. Don’t do this while you are sleeping or there are noise sensitive activities nearby (meetings etc).

Vacuum gets confused randomly and will throw itself down stair. Daily and repeatedly gets “trapped” at the top of one stair but not the other one. After 8 months, stopped being able to suck debris into empty container as it did its run. Changed roller, filter, settings but just left clumps everywhere. Contacted customer service. They will only offer a refurbished unit with no warranty or 1/3 of original price. Which is extremely poor customer service given this is failing before the warranty is even close to finished. Fix your design Anker!!! Previous models were way better than this piece of garbage.

This is an amazing little vaccuum. We have used it for a month, scheduled it, and it messages your cell with details info when something is wrong to fix. Carpet on hardwood is quite hard to manage, so we took them out. If batt is low, it goes home to charge and comes back to finish the job. It adapts to different furniture locations and our pets don’t mind it.No complaints, so far this thing is very good on our hardwood floors.Reminder: don’t leave loose usb cables, shoe laces or other stringy things around.

Great vacuum. But the app could be much more user friendly. It is very tedious, in particular, to split the floor plan map into separate rooms (so that you can set a custom cleaning schedule). And every other function could be a bit more intuitive in the app. Once you spend time figuring it out though, the vacuum works well for intended purpose and advertised features.

What’s Good1. Effective Lidar System• The Lidar system accurately scans and maps the cleaning area, allowing for efficient navigation and thorough coverage.2. Decent Suction Power• Suction performance is solid and handles daily dust and debris with ease.3. Self-Cleaning Dock• The self-cleaning feature works well. With one cleaning cycle per day, the dust bag lasts about two months for an area of roughly 600 sq ft — quite efficient and convenient.4. Improved App Stability• The app has improved noticeably.• I no longer need to switch between maps as often when moving the vacuum to different locations.• Random undocking issues seem to have been resolved — it hasn’t happened in the past month, suggesting a recent software fix.⸻What Could Be Improved1. Hair Removal System• The hair removal system works only about 50/50. It removes some tangled hair, but not consistently. This feature could be more effective.2. Map and Room Configuration• Earlier, room divisions would reset after a week or so, merging all areas back into one. This issue has improved but still occasionally occurs.3. Wi-Fi and App Connectivity• When the vacuum disconnects from Wi-Fi, reconnecting can still be tricky. I’ve had to use the Eufy Clean app to restore connection.• Over 11 months, Wi-Fi disconnections have been rare (fewer than 10 times), but reconnection reliability could be better.4. Durability of Parts• I run the vacuum once daily, and the brushes and filters tend to wear out faster than expected. Replacements may be needed more frequently.5. docking random red light• Sometimes when it is docking red light comes on. Normally is resolved by moving the unit and press the home to re-dock.
