Eufy is setting the bar for DIY home security!
I’m giving this 5 stars, but I can’t for the life of me get the ring to work with my iPhone. Now, the camera is fantastic, setup was easier than ring, there’s NO SUBSCRIPTION NEEDED WHICH IS AMAZING. It has built in facial recognition and tells me when people show up, when people I know show up that I have added to the system, it rings the internal bell, it tells me if a package has been dropped off and if it gets picked up! The motion detection and field of view are amazing. Really really good value for money. I have an old android phone sitting around and I’ll try setting up the ring with that, but even with an essentially defective part of this combo, the camera was still well worth the money. Fast responsive feedback and fully customizable app notifications. Connect it to a eufy homebase and it’s a whole new ball game. Store footage at home on your own controlled SSD and never worry about your data leaking online or the government having access to your data like with ring. Also I thought the package cam thing was a gimmick but I love it now! Gives so much more range

Great Door Camera with NO FEES
Great doorbell monitor – NO FEES! Just place this at your door and put a small remote plug-in memory storage unit in a regular outlet nearby inside with an SD card. You can monitor the door on your phone, you’re notified when someone gets near the door, and you can even talk to someone at the door through your phone.Positives:No monthly fees.No shared video with other companies.Turns on video and sound for anyone or anything near the door.Has a bright light to illuminate the area near the door when activated.Memory retains events for many months depending on the SD card size you buy.It has a sensor that detects packages being left at the porch, and will notify you if the package is left or removed.Negatives:You should buy a large SD card.You can hard wire it, or use the integral battery and have it be wireless. The minor negative is that the battery lasts about a month or two outdoors, and takes about 4-6 hours to recharge. It will notify you that the battery needs charging.It does not record all the time – just when activated. If something happens across the street, it probably won’t activate.It’s very good at detecting things near the door, but will occasionally detect a truck driving by at the street.

Awesome Self monitoring system. I replaced my old doorbell with this. Plugs into existing electric so I won’t have to charge it.Angled attachment s nice since it’s next to a wall and it had 2 cameras to see ground and forward.NO SUBSCRIPTION is great. Much happier to pay 1 time and monitor on my own.I bought a solar camera for my garage/side yard. The solar works well and battery is always near 100%. Both systems integrated into the app with no software issues.Anyone with higher security concerns should probably get the version with a hard drive inside the house as any would be robbers could break the cameras and the footage would be gone.Overall, this is a great system for someone that has basic tech knowledge and doesn’t want to pay for monthly services. I am very happy 4 months into using the overall Eufy system. Lots of settings you can personalize too. You can talk through any of the devices, turn alarm on to scare someone away, change video recording duration.Solid product.

I do love this security video doorbell , it was easy but Im having alot of problem connecting the ring bell ..and other people tell me the they have the same issue .. Im still trying to connect to my wifi and its not wanting to connect .. its frustrating thou…

I wanted a video door bell that was battery operated as I didn’t have electrical wire hook up. Although larger than I prefer, the Eufy works perfectly. The battery lasts three months between charge. Installation was easy.

Lacking in too many ways.
1. each notification comes in as if it’s from a different app – meaning that if you are working in front of the door and you want to mute notifications for 1 hr via the Android timed mute function, you can’t. it will ring over and over again, each notification coming in with it’s own separate mute function. So it’s impossible to mute unless you go into the settings and mute it there or mute ALL notifications on your phone (which is not what I want to do).2. it rings 3 times and there’s no way to change that. I wish I could select from 1, 2 or 3. And due to the above circumstance, if you hit the volume down button to mute the first notification, the next two notifications, since they all come in as separate notifications, will still chime. You have to mute it 3 times for each time it detects motion. It’s extremely annoying.3. the live feed takes a very long time to load even with 1gb WiFi. And I did a speed test by the door – perfect signal. It typically takes at least 8 seconds from clicking the notification to seeing the live feed – by that time, people can always be walking away. My previous doorbell camera took 1-2 second to load love view.4. if someone even walks fast past the door, it will only catch the tail end of them walking away. It doesn’t pre-record apparently. Someone stole my mail and it just captured their foot leaving the corner of the view because he apparently ran up, grabbed the package and left. As in: the time I needed it most, the camera failed me. Didn’t capture the full event, didn’t see his face, just a portion of a leg and foot leaving the frame. A neighbor saw it happen and chased after the suspect but was too slow. Bottom line: the camera doesn’t do the one thing I needed it to do.Overall, I would not recommend this camera. Go with a more notable brand. Like a brand that rhymes with “ding”… It was much better than this one.All of that being said, I do like that it has a package camera that points down. Wish more cameras had that.

من بعد تجربتي الاولى جوده وتصوير واضح وممتاز ولكن العبره بعد سنه استخدام لان كان عندي نوع غير هذا وللاسف تضررت الشاشه من العوامل الجويه علما انها كانت محفوظه في حافظه لها وكانت محميه من أشعة الشمس المباشره ف ان شاء الله تكون هذي جودة صناعتها افضل وأكثر تحمل بس بشكل عام ومبدئيا ممتازه جدا وسهلة الربط مع الهوم بيس
