Works better on the windshield than on curved dashboards
At first, this didn’t work as well as I expected when I tried mounting it on the dashboard, mainly because most dashboards have a curved surface that makes it hard for the suction cups to seal properly.After switching to the windshield, it’s been working great. The suction holds well there, especially if you take the time to clean both the glass and the suction cups before installing. Once properly mounted, it stayed in place throughout the drive without needing adjustment.This is a good option if you don’t have a sunroof. Installation takes a little patience, but once set up correctly, it performs reliably.

Great accessory for on the go WiFi 10/10
It works so well!! We stuck it on the windshield of a hilux and it was on there! Be aware there’s also like a sticky layer on the suction cups it’s not just suction it almost feels like a super intense command strip so once you place it you won’t want to move it. Choose location wisely and be sure before you stick it. It’s super easy to install the instructions show you photos of it all. So far so good! We will be using this off-roading so very rocky bumpy rides so I’ll update on whether it stays or not (I really doubt it’ll move)

Solid Option for Windshield Mounting of Starlink Mini
This mount was easy to put together, fit the Starlink Mini perfectly, is a solid build plastic, and has more than enough grab on the windshield with the sticky suction cups. I would not expect this to move if you are driving with this mount attached to the windshield.I have a 2022 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and tested it in this vehicle. I probably should have placed the Starlink Mini onto the dash before ordering this to learn that it extends beyond the edge of the dashboard, making the suction cups only useful for attaching to the windshield.The angle of the Starlink Mini that is created by the OEM Starlink plastic stand is slightly less than what is created when I suction cup this to the window with this mount. That is why I gave it 4 stars. I would ideally want it to have some adjustability in height to accommodate various windshield angles, but otherwise a great product.I have not tested the Starlink Mini being powered up because I live in a wooded neighborhood and have to drive pretty far to get to a location where I can test that in my vehicle, but the mount should not affect the connectivity to any great degree, other than potentially the angle.

Mount for starlink mini.This mount fit the starlink well, snaps on firmly.The sticky/suction cups stick to the windshield glass very well. Hard to get off. The starlink obscures vision fairly significantly in that position (and I’m tall), flipping the feet over to mount in the dash cap rather than the window puts the starlink in a much better position for driving but the suction cups do not hold on the textured surface of the dash. Even after a vigorous cleaning with isopropyl.In my use – 2023 Ram 1500 classic there is almost serendipitous spacing from the base of the windshield and the “raised” edge of the dash that allowed the mount feet to wedge in and hold the starlink.If you can mount in glass, or have a smoother flatter dash than I do, it should adhere better than in my case.Still usable and glad I have it for other vehicles and locations, but won’t work long term for my primary vehicle.
