The ASC-SS1 shock sensor protects all types of glass: plate, wired, tempered, and laminated. The sensor will protect the glass within an 8 feet radius from the sensor for glass up to 1/4 inch thick. The ASC-SS1 mounts directly to the glass surface and is wired to a two wire powered protective loop.

I had some new windows installed. The old ones had the dreaded lead tape. I wanted glass breakage sensors that were hard wired to my alarm system. Most of the glass breakage sensors I found on Amazon were for wireless systems. I ordered extra of these in case I needed them. Anyone could do this installation. Cut wire to length, strip it and attach it to your system. Then per directions stick it on your windows.
