They are powered by cord adapter, the cord adapter are included in package. The speaker doesn’t have built in battery. The cord adapter cord is 6.6 feet long.

Maximum distance is 100ft.
Are they Alexa compatible?
Alexa is not built into this product. As with any Bluetooth speaker, however, this can connect to an Echo device and is capable of acting as a speaker for said device.
What devices is the speaker compatible with?
This speaker is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled devices, including smartphones, computers, and tablets.
Please note: Bluetooth connections may have audio latency, and it is not recommended for use with TVs or projectors.

Awesome speakers and great customer service!
These speakers look nice and sound incredible! The pairing capability works very well between speakers, with simple instructions that made setup a breeze.One of the things I was initially concerned with was the range of the remote. These speakers are mounted up under my garage eaves (about 8 feet off the ground), but the remote reaches easily. The manual is very well laid out and I have had no problems connecting the speakers to my phone and other Bluetooth sources. Great sound quality for the money, and they are LOUD at maximum volume, with no distortion!I ordered some additional speakers to add on to the two I already have, but the Bluetooth names between the sets are different, making them incompatible. I sent an email to their support and received a reply the next day, offering to replace the older speakers with a brand new set for free! I had read other reviews before I purchased these and the great customer service was always a selling point for me. It’s something that you hope you never have to use, but I can confirm that the stories are true: they really stand behind their product.These speakers are one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

Absolutely great speakers. Sounds decent. If you’re looking DEEP bass this may not be what you’re looking for. But if you want good overall sound you won’t be disappointed. Easy to set up. Gets very loud. Have 2 in my back yard for full coverage. I can also hook it up my projector outdoors for movie nights. Overall good price.

The Inwa Outdoor Bluetooth Speakers completely exceeded my expectations! The sound quality is crystal clear with rich bass and great volume — perfect for backyard parties, camping trips, or just relaxing on the patio. I love how durable and weather-resistant they are, so I don’t have to worry about bringing them outside. The Bluetooth connection is fast and reliable. Make sure you don’t have the older ones.
Great speakers, good sound, easy connection with caveats below, but a few things to note:1. Inwa doesn’t seem to respond to customer service requests.2. The older firmware versions have a square ended remote, and broadcast on bluetooth as their model number “mz-xxx”.3. The newer firmware ones have the rounded remote and broadcast as “sync speaker”.4. If you buy multiple, and they have different firmware with different broadcast names, THEY WILL NOT SYNC. If they have the same version, they sync very we, and very quickly. There’s no delay betwwwn speakwra or odd behaviors that I found.5. There is a pretty long delay from the source to the speakers. No problem for audio. Not great for using with alexa speaker groups or outdoor projector.6. If you get the older firmware versions, expect them to blow out your windows every time you reconnect to them. They reset to 100% volume kn every connection. The new version doesn’t do this.7. The easy, no involvement connection between speakers is noce, but also a flaw. Because these connect automatically to each other, you cant have two sets doi f two sources. Thats sounds like no painless, but if you’re neighbor buys a set, you’re both going to have problems. It would be better if you could connect series of speakers, then lock the connection function.

Sounds great but hate the full volume at startup
UPDATE….. the company reached out to me to discuss my original problems noted in my original review and customized a set of speakers based off of my issues and sent them to me free of charge.1. They adjusted the firmware so that the volume was at 10% at startup, versus the 100% on the original purchase.2. They modified the remote sensor and added a new remote control design that works up to 50 feet. We’ve tested and it works awesome !!I changed my review from 3 to 5+ stars just on the customer service alone.Great company doing great things…. Are rare service these days.I RECOMMEND BUYING THEM A++++++Original Review Below…..We love the sound quality and how easy they are to turn on and off, but there a few cons that are very irritating…CONS1. We have them connected to a Bluetooth adapter (inline optical) that is connected to our tv inside the house so that we can play YouTube music from our Roku indoors and have the same music outdoors. This is a fixed Bluetooth audio signal. So when you go inside and back outside the house it’s the same music. This feature works perfectly but when you turn these speakers on, they force the volume to go from low to full volume.We attempt to stop it from going to full volume by pressing on the volume button on the remote, which it does stop it, but as soon as you let go of the button on the remote control, the cycle starts over and continues to raise the volume to full volume.So it appears that the firmware forces it to full volume at start up, so I’m concerned on how long they will last as eventually it will blow the speakers and is a nuisance that every time we want to turn them on, we have to let the entire neighborhood hear what we’re playing at full volume lol2. The remote control is awful. You have to be standing perfectly in front of the speaker pointing the remote at a perfect angle or else it doesn’t work. I can’t believe with today’s technology that we’re still using such outdated technology that doesn’t work well, but I guess at least it has a remote control lolWe don’t know of any other options that could replace these so we will keep them, but this is definitely something I would like other buyers to known in advance.
