An awesome addition to any motorcycle
I already have one smaller CarPlay unit and decided to pick up another for my second bike. While I thought I would use these only for navigation, I find it also makes communication and controlling music easier as well. I always found voice and intercom controls a bit clunky, so I rarely bothered with calls or music. With the large display, quickly glancing to screen calls or start, stop, skip or change a playlist is a breeze. No more pulling over to pull my phone out, everything I need is right there and accessible with a few quick taps. Android Auto always connects seamlessly after the quick bootup. Google Maps, Spotify, Phone and Messages apps are intuitive and work perfectly.The screen is large, bright and responsive even with gloves. A small touch I really love is the brightness toggle switches between bright, dim and off. Being able to turn off the display is great when I don’t want or need the display. Other units I’ve had just don’t have an easy way of turning the screen or even the whole unit off. Big plus for me for such a simple thing.The mount is easy to install and allows a lot of flexibility in positioning the display. In my case, I have it mounted near the clutch lever and tilted up and right a bit to keep in inline with the bike’s gauge cluster. If you already have a RAM style mount, you should be able reuse it and pop this on easily. Otherwise, the included metal mount is sturdy and very stable. Wiring is a breeze with only a ground and 12v line that need to be connected. Just be sure to use a 12v line that only turns on with the key. I chose to use the tail light with a Y-splitter to avoid cutting anything.

Working perfectly, but doesn’t automatically dim
The screen works perfectly. Connects with CarPlay and helmet Cardo unit every time. It does require both bluetooth and wifi to be turned on for a connection. I was in an area where 5G was better than wifi at a coffee shop so I turned off my phone wifi. It wouldn’t connect when I got back to the bike until I turned it back on. The screen at least gave me a warning so I didn’t waste any time trying to figure out why it wasn’t connected. The reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because of no automatic dimming. I rode at dawn and it didn’t dim. Checked the settings in a dark garage and it didn’t work there either. It has to be manually selected to “Always Dark” from the CarPlay appearance settings if you are going to be using it in the darker lighting situations. There is also no power off button. You can make the screen go black but not off.So it has to be wired to a switched circuit or your battery will drain. Otherwise it works just fine.Edit to original review: downgrading stars due to the screen not being bright enough in full sun. I tried changing the settings to different configurations and couldn’t get it good enough. This is too difficult to do every time you ride. Seems to be only good on cloudy days. I purchased a different unit that automatically changes brightness and compared to this one it was 100% better and also less expensive. This one is just not worth the price.

Bright display, fast response, wireless CarPlay: it all works great!
After my phone overheated again under the Texas sun while showing navigation, I decided to buy this CarPlay screen. What a difference! The larger screen with a brighter display and the canopy, along with the much easier navigation features of CarPlay have me wishing I installed this years ago. Pairing to my iPhone was easy and it connects on startup every time. The firmware that came with it seems to be operating fine, I’ve not had any issues with it. My touch capacitive gloves work fine with it. I use the Sena Bluetooth audio and I just have to remember to start the bike, first, then turn on the headset, to ensure the phone uses the correct audio profile.The only small issue I have is that the power cable doesn’t come with any termination ends for installation. I used a fuse extender to connect it to my brake light circuit and then tapped into the return with a t-connector. Some basic knowledge of electrical is needed, or you may need to take this to a shop to be installed.

Très pratique , la connectivité est facile, écran de belle grandeur , fonctionne très bien par grand froid il est installé sur un Quad (vtt) . Très bon à petit prix .

Facile d’installation et de connexion. Plus pratique qu’un simple GPS avec en prime un écran très grand. Le support est robuste mais malheureusement, mon guidon de moto n’est pas standard, je devrai y adapter une monture spéciale et le placer plutôt de côté car il cache un partie mes cadrans. Une fois installé, il s’est connecté à mon Iphone sans problème. J’ai maintenant accès à mon téléphone et la luminosité est très bonne.
