Perfect portable luggage scale. Easy to use and great value for the price. Auto shut off feature and LED screen is clear and bright. Great scale when traveling out of the U.S., so don’t overpack and have to pay extra fees at the airport.

Never pay an overweight bag fee again
This looks like many of the other luggage scales, but I assure you there are some slight variances and this one seems to work better than look-alikes. I had something that looked similar for more than 10 years and it was great! Had been with me on several dozen trips and just needed a battery change every few years. I lost it at some point and in a panic before an international trip, bought a random one that looked similar and was cheap, without thinking twice. On my trip it basically stopped working. So it stayed in the hotel trash can. Bought this as a replacement and it’s been great! It’s very accurate and consistent. My wife loves buying mountains of gifts on trips, so we use this to distribute the weight across several checked bags to avoid extra fees. Pays for itself several times over on the first trip. Saves the embarrassment of opening all your suitcases and shuffling junk around at bag check

Weighs Substantially Off
Weighs substantially light at low weights.I weighed an item and it indicated 1.2 lbs and 2 other scales weighed 1.8 lbs. Granted, most luggage will not be less than 2 lbs. I did weigh an item listed as 11.2 lbs that this scale showed as 11.4. I weighed an item labeled as 17.6lbs and this scale showed 16.6. As such, it’s hard to say what the accuracy looks like across the scale and it is not trustworthy for its purposeFWIW, it came with two batteries. The first one worked the first day and was dead a few day later. It did ship with an additional battery. Regardless, I recommend taking the battery out when not needed. It would be totally useless if you went to weigh the luggage for your your return trip and it was deadI’ll be applying for a return.

I am away for 5 weeks. Every single time I have weighed my luggage before going to the airport using this scale, it is wrong. Off by 1.8 kg. – 2.8 kilos. It varies. What a waste of money. Can’t return it because I am out of the country. Looking at the other reviews, I am certainly not the only one with this experience. Wrote to seller- zero response. Perhaps this is their business model: sell a product with spotty quality, accept returns and take the profits as they happen.
