So Smart
The Philips WiFi Smart Keypad Deadbolt Lock was very easy to install and set up. The built-in WiFi is a big plus since there is no hub required, and the app makes it simple to lock, unlock, and manage access codes from anywhere.It works well with Alexa and Google Assistant, and the keypad is responsive and easy to use. Overall, it feels secure, convenient, and reliable.A solid choice if you want a simple, modern smart lock.

Great lock.
Lock was easy to install and set up. App is easy and straight forward. It notifies my phone every time it’s unlocked and locked and tells you how it was done. If it’s put in away mode it disables codes and will notify my phone if it is unlocked from inside or with key. The app keeps a log by date and time of day. I definitely can recommend.

8 new set of Energizer dies in less than a week. See Update!
UPDATE: After my last review, I’ve install 8 new batteries. This time I went with Duracell and so far so good. It has been about two weeks with normal usage and the batteries still full. I will closely monitor the batteries to see how long it’ll last.I’m still uncertain what happen with the first set of batteries, it was brand new Energizer. Some hypostasis is the initial installation might of had a high drainage or the new batteries was defected or past the their shelf life.Nonetheless, I bump this up from a 2 star to 4. I need to give it a bit more time before I can surely say it’s a 5!I’ve bought this lock because it used 8 batteries. I was hoping that it would last longer than my previous smart lock which only take 4.The installation and set up was a breeze. I did’t have to modify anything on the door. I didnt have any issue connecting to Bluetooth or the wifi. The only thing I wish that it had a programmable key so all of our lock would be the same.Now almost a week had pass and the lock died. I thought it wasn’t connecting to my wifi since the app said it wasn’t connected. After a few min of trouble shooting, I realize all 8 batteries died. Not sure if theres a circuit short in there somewhere but this is really odd for something to drain batteries this quickly.I am going to give it another shot and try some new batteries. Will return it if the new dies in the same amount of time.

Lives up to it’s name
Dependable and functional. So much more reliable than the fingerprint scanning door lock that we replaced. The battery usage is acceptable, and I love the auto-locking feature.

Bad Experience on Many Levels
Worked great for six months with a two lock installation — front and back door. Battery life was acceptable to me. But then, the back door disappeared off my app. I re-installed it, but when I did my front door disappeared from the app. This went back and forth a couple of times. Finally, I completely uninstalled everything but now the back door won’t connect to Bluetooth. And it’s past the return window. And, when you try the toll free number for the United States it says, “the toll free number you’re calling is unassigned”. A company like Philips should be able to do better than this.

I got this to replace my old smart bolt. It fit exactly in the existing holes… without need for drilling and chiseling. I had it installed and linked to the network in under 15 minutes. You can too. Go for it, you know you want it 🙂
