An exceptional way to organize thoughts and ideas
I’ve been using amazon for almost 15 years now, and never written a review for any product ever. But this device has now changed that. I can’t even begin to describe how useful this has been in my daily life. You would think that with voice recorders on smartphones that something like this would be redundant, but there is something about the simplicity of simply having to press down on the device for a moment and then just start talking, instead of having to pull your phone out, unlock it, and then find the right app, and then push a button and start talking. Even if you’ve remapped a button on your phone to voice record, this is still a much easier and quicker way to take note of your thoughts, and since you’re wearing it using one of the provided attachments, it’s always easily accessible. And that’s not even mentioning the AI integration of this device. The ability to recognize multiple speakers and group ideas and thoughts into well organized mind-maps and layouts has been invaluable to me. I’ve tried countless note-taking systems using regular paper, e-ink tables, laptops, and this device is far superior, at least for me, and is also easy to integrate into existing systems since it obviously converts your words into text to be used any way you want later. I was impressed by the build quality as well. Solid metal, and very apple like. The battery life is also very impressive at about 18 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. I usually only have to charge mine once every two weeks. Even the wearable accessories are of good quality. I normally use the silicone wrist band and find it very comfortable to wear all day. Even the companies customer service is outstanding. I had an issue where my device wasn’t charging at all, so I sent support an email and a video of me showing what it was doing and immediately they sent me a replacement which arrived within 2 business days. I highly recommend this device if you’re looking for a more efficient way to organize your cluttered mind, or are just interested in Artificial Intelligence capabilities. The 300 minutes of free AI transcriptions per month is more than enough for my daily use, but I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase their unlimited plan, especially after knowing how excellent their customer support is. I look forward to seeing what products this company has in store for the future.

So practical, so versatile — a new business essential for my work
I love my Plaud! Its capabilities — including audio recording, written transcript, and summaries — are outstanding. It is quick and easy to use. The awesome accessories provide a great deal of versatility in terms of where to place the device. I have been very impressed with the range of audio it can pick up in the room — even when people talk quietly. My only wish is that I had more confidence that user error would not hinder my ability to record a meeting. So far, it has not been an issue, but I worry that I will press the button one too many times and fail to record a session. Additionally, I would like to automate the transcript and summary generation — perhaps there is a way to do this, but I haven’t quite mastered it.

I can appreciate the templates because I have ADHD. I can just leave this thing on all day to record and then when I remember that, I forgot something throughout the day I can just refer back to the conversations and I can ask the AI about my day or if there’s anything specific I need to rememberThis is a great tool for me to help me keep myself in check and not lose my own accountabilityI like that the transcriptions can be re-summarized using a template whether it’s a specific ADHD one or a Notes template or even if you’re gonna go see a therapist you can have a therapist summary. It’s pretty cool.

I am not a technically minded person, and I don’t particularly want to be. However, needs must sometimes and the need arose that I needed to record certain meetings and telephone conversations, covertly, for my own peace of mind, to know what I’ve agreed to or not and not what someone tells me I agreed to. So, I set the Plaud Note Pin up, one slight hiccup that it transcribed the practise “meeting” in to Welsh, really, Welsh, impressive in itself. Fortunately my oldest son rolled his eyes at me and sorted it out. Easy! The quality is excellent, very tactile. Plenty of options on how to wear it and now that it’s set up, I press one button and it records, perfect. I wore it on my wrist, like one of those fitness trackers and no one knew. Battery life is very good, size is perfect for me. It does exactly what it states and it was well worth the money.
