Good cushion with some benefits — just not quite what I hoped for
I had mixed but mostly positive feelings about this ProtoArc seat cushion. First off, I was honestly shocked by how small the box was when it arrived. I couldn’t believe the cushion fit inside it. After opening it up and letting it expand, it did take shape, but that initial impression set my expectations a bit cautiously.What I like:Comfortable overall: It definitely adds comfort compared to sitting directly on a standard office chair. It does relieve some pressure, especially during shorter sitting periods.Nice design: The U-shaped cutout and contouring are well thought out and seem intended to help with tailbone pressure.Quality materials: The cover feels nice, breathable, and well-made, and the cushion itself doesn’t feel cheap.Non-slip bottom: It stays in place on the chair and doesn’t slide around, which I appreciate.Portable: The built-in handle is convenient if you plan to move it between chairs or locations.Where it fell a little short for me:Smaller than expected: For my chair, it felt a bit undersized. It works, but I was hoping for something that covered more of the seat area.Compresses more than I’d like: Over time, it tends to squish fairly flat, especially if you sit for longer stretches. I was hoping for firmer support and more structure.Support level: It helps, but I expected a little more lift and long-term support based on the description.Bottom line:This is a good cushion, and I do like it — I just don’t love it. It provides comfort and some pressure relief, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations in terms of size and firmness. If you want moderate comfort and portability, this is a solid option. If you’re looking for maximum support or a larger, firmer cushion, you may want to consider sizing up or exploring other models.Overall, it’s a decent product and worth 4 stars — just not quite the perfect fit for my needs.

Great cushion!
Let me start by saying that I paid full price for this item and was not given it in exchange for a 5 star review. This cushion earned the 5 stars all on its own! Honestly I was expecting much since I paid less than $20 but I have multiple medical issues that necessitate using some type of coccyx cushion when sitting on anything (chairs, wheelchairs, even fabric covered benches and ottomans) and I already own about 8 different kinds of cushions. I’ve tried (and still use the good ones) and many are pretty much identical to each other even though they boast different features and the listings look different. All of them are more expensive than this one (some significantly more expensive!). Recently I had to start weekly IV infusions and while they try to make the chemotherapy chairs as comfortable as possible any pressure on my tailbone and lower back is excruciating. Both sides of my pelvis are also fractured so I can’t lay one my side. This cushion is just the right height and density to take the pressure of of my coccyx (and lumbar/sacral area) while also having enough padding on each side for hips.It is wider than most of the cushions I own so if you have a particular chair or wheelchair in mine make sure you measure first. It also might not be ideal for very petite people. I’m about 5’7” 160 lbs but my great aunt who is 4’11” and 90 lbs soaking wet would be way too small to comfortably sit on this cushion. I can’t speak to whether it improves your posture why sitting because I have so many medical conditions that cause spinsl curvature that a cushion can provide support but definitely not alter my posture.I also can’t speak to the longevity of the product but it is very well made. The stitching is impeccable, the fabric is high quality, the material is sift, the zipper slides easily, and the handle is firmly attached. It’s honestly better quality than the $60-$80 cushions I’ve bought. It came nicely packaged with information about the company, the company’s founder, and customer service information in case you have any questions or issues. It has a 2 year warranty. I love that it has a removable cover that can be washed and even the inner foam material is covered in a waterproof material so you don’t have to worry about spills or accidents seeping in to the foam.

Iv tried 3 other cushions from AmazonThis is by far the best and finally found want I was looking for the XL version is exactly right its the version id get the large ones others sell are more for kids or very small adults

It’s a really good product !Contoured to accommodate your posterior at all points, except coxccys to provide relief from pain.It’s comfortable to sit on, having that right blend of softness, yet firm.I bought it for my upcoming hemorrhoid operation, which I haven’t received my appointment yet.
