2nd time buyer Great product IMO
My reason for 2nd purchase is to upgrade from a fixed one view to a horizontal and vertical adjustable image. There may be less expensive options on the market but I have had great results with my Reolink camera and with their customer service. My fixed camera developed a problem with the usb port on the camera. Explained to customer service and was honest it may have been my fault, camera replaced for free! I used this camera on my boat during summer and outdoors to monitor my beach house in the winter. Camera has faced the harshest conditions ( ice, snow, a hurricane, and salt air which is very hard on electronics. It has performed with no failures in over 3 years. This second camera will replace the fixed lenses camera for added views. Setup was less than 5 minutes and instructions were very good. I already added a cell device to my phone plan and now both cameras work off this line, just not at same time. In my experience and opinion a great value and perfect for remote locations with no WiFi.

Not Worth the Money, Time, or Aggravation!!!!
I’ve had these “off grid cameras” for about three months. The first six weeks were OK, BUT then both quit working!!! Message on phone app says “Disconnected” on Camera 1 and Camera 2 says ” Unable to Connect” or “Disabled” or something similar. Funny, REOLINK sends me emails that my card is out of storage space!!!!! HELLLLOOOO!!! NOTHING IS RECORDING, SO HOW CAN THAT BE? I continue to be charged monthly for a storage subscription that is not capturing anything!! I HAVE MAJOR RIP-OFF VIBES FROM THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!Our property is in another state, so, it is NOT AT ALL convenient to mess with these cameras on a daily or weekly basis to get them back up & running properly. They started acting up in December 2025 so we drove many miles- over the river and through the woods to our property in a different state and tried to do a reset… we thought it was successful due to the eye of the camera doing its rotation/resetting, etc…but found out after we got home that nothing changed!!!! I bought two cameras. 4G & 5G…both solar. They charge up just fine from the sun, but they just stopped working and don’t do their job… i would have to say a big waste of money and a big disappointment!!! I will probably rip these down and throw them away when I visit the property next. DON’T BOTHER TRYING TO CALL THEM EITHER. THEY DON’T ANSWER SO THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! AS A CONSUMER, YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN, SO GOOD LUCK. Thanks for nothing REOLINK! 👎👎👎

Good cell / solar camera
Took a minute to activate SIM card – PLUG THE ANTENNA IN – that’s why SIM may not connect to cellular out of the box. I bought a separate mount to hang it on a pole at my boat dock. Battery is staying at 100% with the solar panel and notifications are great to keep an eye on my boat. Monthly cell subscription less than $10. I’m happy with it.

Reolink is great company. They application is easy to navigate and use. Setup is a breeze. Great customer service. Camera has good picture and stays charged with solar panel. The camera is easy to mount and the application walks you through setup. It is pretty much automated. Wifi works well. It is dependent on the quality of your wifi signal. With decent signal, there is no lag. You can adjust the resolution of playback to lower rates if you have lag issues due to low quality wifi. These are some of the best all around cameras especially when you take i to account the whole picture. Application, customer service and hardware. Well worth the money.

Be careful buying this product. It does not setup and work like a ring doorbell product. I used their sim card, paid for activation /service. By the time I got it working and tested I used up the amount I paid for. When I tried to access the app it said discontinued with no other explanation. I thought even though it had a solar panel maybe it is out of power. I had to turn it from it’s mount to access the power wire as there is not hardly enough room to work with it in the mounted position (hanging down) I had it mounted on a custom plate I made for it to sit where it needed to be. After charging overnight with a cord brought out to its location, I still had a disconnected on the app. I called support and found out I was out of service. (YOU CAN ONLY HAVE A PRE-PAID SIM CARD IN THIS UNIT) you cannot connect it to your cell plan with a data card that is unlimited! This is a real problem as the cost to use this is not worth having it! I use all kinds of equipment in my film production business and have never ran across this type of design. Of course its recommended to use their sim car for ease of use! I am past the return date but the company said they would take it back directly! If they do then that would tell me they are a good company but just have a design fault in limitation of the sim card use. It makes it not affordable with it’s current design. When it worked it was OK except for the siren it is not loud enough to matter, but the lights are very bright which is nice!

Returning this Reolink GO PT Plus
I have 6 different Reolink cameras including the 2 lens outdoor model. All work fine. All were very easy to set up. I remote view a property 250 miles away maybe 6 times a day. It works great. Setup was very easy, scan the QR code.This Go PT Plus will not activate and the sim card is unable to click into its socket. The Reolink help app does not work at all. I click on the blue bar and absolutely nothing happens. I tried to get this camera working and wasted 4 hours. It will not get past the SIM card cannot be recognized.” I wasted a 500 mile trip thinking I could set it up to view the blind area.I’m done with this unit and will send it back. Amazon says ‘Frequently returned item’. It’s too much trouble to set up.

Would not connect!! Contacted Reolink and got two emails which did not respond to the issue at hand. They never even responded to my last email. At over three hundred dollars paid I thought we would get some support.
