Captures It All
Great camera to add to your system. 180° view, 16mp provides enough resolution to zoom in picture and still capture detail. Light has good output, although I wish their were zone setting to set for when the light comes on. Light can be set “dusk-dawn”, “off” or on with motion, but I wish I could set zones to make the light come on when something enters my driveway instead of coming on pretty much all the time.Great otherwise and the motion deal isn’t a deal breaker. Super easy install with PoE. Downside of the installation is that I could make the wires fit with the ethernet plug weather protector on, too big to fit past the opening in the light mount and the metal bar that attaches the light mount to the cross member mount to the junction box.

Best flood light camera
This is the best camera purchase I have made thus far. Setup easy with NVR, quality exceptional, functionality has all areas of need covered. Drove up to home at night and flood lights lit up bright then return to dimness level I set. Picture quality beyond my expectations even at night. Thank you Reolink.

Excellent Quality
Great picture quality and a very wide view. Flood light is better than the Ring I replaced. Definitely a big upgrade from what I had previously. Love the 24/7 recording you get with the Reolink NVR and no annual fee is much better than what I was paying through the Ring program.

Very nice camera and worked how I wanted but………..
This is a great camera really. It has nice bright lights and you can control that brightness. They can stay on all the time to dimly light the area or just come on with motion. The home assistant integration is of course great. The zones I setup for my driveway even show up so I can trigger my ptz that does not “see” the driveway to then pan over in that direction so it can start recording if it picks up a person. The thing to be VERY aware of is the narrow horizontal FOV. This is ok for me as I was aware of this upon purchase. If you aren’t aware of the narrow field of view it can be alarming. For a SECURITY camera Reolink, this should have a much TALLER field of view. This super narrow field of view is NOT okay. Alright I got that out sorry……….. I attached the image of it showing the front of my house. It shows what I need, what I would want is it to be a bit taller so that I could see more of the street and house at the same time. This is. mounted almost in the middle of my house and you can clearly see almost the entirety on both sides of my house with clarity. The lights themselves are properly bright and I had no issues with setup in the app or home assistant. I’m getting pretty seasoned with Reolink cameras as I replaced my Arlo wireless with all POE wired. I got this on sale and it’s completely worth the money for my use case.

half baked product, Reolink did nothing to fix it
Looks promising until you start using it, so many false positives even with detection zone / lower sensitivity making alert function totally useless. Very narrow vertical FOV, not even enough to cover a typical driveway. No firmware update, features that worked in other Reolink cameras are totally broken on Elite Pro (FTP upload etc), yet Reolink made absolutely no effort to address these. My guess is Elite Pro will be another of those expensive launch and abandon Reolink products.

Super bright with excellent clarity.
This was the beginning of our PoE security camera journey after using only wi-fi cameras. Using it with the RLN8-410 NVR and it was completely plug and play, the app detected the camera immediately. Great image quality, a ton of motion detection settings, took about 3 nights to edit settings to our liking, but I feel very confident in it now.

Over time I’ve slowly built a Reolink ecosystem for my home, including doorbell, several security cameras and a home hub. This Elite Pro POE floodlight is the latest, installed above the garage door to illluminate & monitor the front driveway.Firstly, the 2800 Lumens dual floodlights are bright. you are able to adjust the brightness in the app, but at max brightness, it literally lights up the driveway like a sports field at night. I’m very happy to have the ability to adjust the color temperature from cool to warmer. For the eyes, I would recommend a cooler color temperature to see details better and more easily, while for more ambience, choose warmer color temperature. However, this doesn’t seem to make any difference when viewing through the camera video. The mount has excellent flexibility for installation – it’s thoughtfully designed to ennable mounting underside of eavestrough or on the vertical wall. The dual-lens cameras can be adjusted pretty much to any angle and orientation across a half a sphere radius. The near 180-degree provided by the dual lens is just amazing — although it’s best if you have a very wide area to monitor, but for my narrow driveway, it’s actually too much. The color night vision is excellent whether it’s under the illumination of the dual floodlights or in ambient daylight. The quality is also suprisingly fine under moderate streetlighting, without the need to switch to its infrared night vision. For my setting, there is a streetlight that partially illuminates my driveway, and I actually prefer turning off the night vision feature.Smart detection works fairly well, with excellent human and vehicle detection, ok detection accuracy for pets, and very sensitive motion detection overall. You can adjust the detection sensitivity in the app to match your environment. At higher sensitivity, there were lots of false detections, including trees and bushes swaying in the wind, and sometimes even when there’s nothing visibly moving in the field of view. So I dial the sensitivity down substantially to avoid frequent recording. I had to experiment with different settings over the course of a month to finally arrive at a setting the provides good overall detection accuracy. The voice feature is good to have but I find little use for it, so it’s disabled in the app, as the floodlight/camera is installed over the garage door and I can’t see the need to speak to someone standing or driving up my short driveway. While this device has integrated microSD storage capability, I have it wired to a NAS inside my home. I specifically chose this POE because WiFi signal is unstable and weak at the installation point above my garage door. Retrieving and viewing the recorded videos is very fast via the app; hardlly any latency. The local AI video search capability performs ok, but I’m still learning how to effectively use it. It works better with daylight recorded videos, and unfortunately I find it not nearly as effective for infrared vision videos, and even has trouble finding presence of vehicles even though the headlights were obvious in the video.

First thing I wan to mention is that there’s 2 versions of the Reolink Elite Pro Floodlight : PoE & WiFi.The big difference is that the WiFi version can replace your current floodlight and be hardwired to the existing wirering to power the camera. The PoE (Power of Ethernet) has to be powered via ethernet cable which then is connected to a either a PoE switch, a NVR or a PoE injector. So make sure you get the one that will fit your needs. Now this is like a 2-in-1 product because it combines a security camera and a floodlight. I’ve been using Reolink camera’s for year and I love the balance of quality & affordability of their products. The Elite Pro has 2 cameras giving you a very wide field of view, ideally I would suggest installing it on a central point to get maximum coverage of your property. Installation was easy, all hardware if provided, I suggest adding the camera to the APP and testing it out before doing the final installation, that way if you run into any issues it’s much easier to troubleshoot sitting at your desk rather than up on a ladder. I personally had no issues adding the camera to my Android Reolink APP or to my Reolink NVR. The flood light is very bright and both the brightness and colour temperature (3000K to 6000K) can be adjusted. The WiFi version is a little brighter (3000 lumens) than the PoE (2800 lumens). The image quality is just superb, and with PoE you will always get the best possible speeds and won’t have to worry about WiFi signal strength. My 10 years of personal experience with Reolink is that the overall quality of their products is very good, I’ve had some that still worked after 4 harsh Canadian winters and I only changed them to upgrade them for better newer ones. The camera detection is good, and the smart (people, pet, vehicle) detection also seems pretty accurate. There’s a lot of customizations you can do on the APP, like tweak image settings, setting up recording schedules or recording zones (include or exclude zones). Notification are rapid, I get them in about 10 seconds. There’s a siren that you can toggle ON/OFF and you can even customize it with a 5 second audio clip via the APP.With Reolink for recording and viewing the camera you have a lot of flexibility, first because you are not tied to/force to pay for a subscription cloud service. Yest it’s an options, but you can also record locally on a microSD card which I highly suggest you do. In addition to that, you can also get a Reolink NVR or Hub to record your video to.One other way is to use the windows software and record directly on a computer. You can obviously view, record videos, take snapshots on the APP itself which gets saved on your phone. Although you get a very wide horizontal field of view, the vertical field of view is only about 60 degrees. Also, the speaker/sound quality of the 2 way talk isn’t great.Besides that, it’s a great camera if you’re already in the Reolink ecosystem you’re going to love it and if you’re new to them it’s a solid security camera with great features and a great overall value.

Seems liek it would be great as an addition to your existing REOLINK setup, this was my first piece of REOINK and took a fair bit of work getting it set up. Once it was setup its been nice though. The flood light is blindingly bright if you’re into that sort of thing but can be adjusted. The view from the camera is very wide, can cover my entire backyard with the one camera. I do wish this had activity zones you could set so this thing isnt set off everytime any of my neighbours lets their dog out and could jsut limit it to the confines of my backyard. I’m able to do this with other cameras but oh well.

It is funny because I was in the middle of replacing my floodlights when this became available to me. I have plenty of Reolink cameras hooked up via PoE and am quite familiar with the process. This was a pretty simple install and everything linked up without any issues. Excellent recording quality as always from Reolink and the communication to my phone from the NVR is practically instantaneous.I use continuous recording on all of my devices hooked up to the NVR, so I never miss a beat. If you just opt for recording only when motion is detected, you will miss the first second or two of the recording, as is normal with all security cameras with that feature. The wide view video recording is also pretty great. It doesn’t seem to cover exactly 180°, wall to wall, but it is pretty close. The image quality is pretty decent but I do have some issues making out plates and faces from a distance of over 15 feet from the camera. The plates are not eligible at all sometimes, depending on movement. The motion detection is great and always turns on my lights whenever I come into the driveway. It also sends me alerts right away. The install was simple and straight forward and the quality of everything is great. I do recommend!

This camera is fantastic, I got it to keep an eye out on my backyard, with the dual lens and super wide viewing angle, it can cover my entire yard with ease. This is a PoE camera which is great as it does not depend on WiFi signal and I find provides a much more stable connection, especially outside where the WiFi signal is not as good. My only issue with the camera is that I wish it included a PoE injector, especially considering the price of the camera. I understand they expect people to use this with their Reolink NVR, and I may add one of those later on, but currently don’t have this setup. I ended up having to buy an inexpensive PoE injector to get it up and running.Outside of that, setting up was quick and easy. It includes a study bracket and all the hardware required. Since it is PoE, only a single wire comes out from the camera which is great. The image quality on this camera is incredible, I have not used another security camera with as clear an image. You can really zoom into the image while keeping the image crystal clear. The Reolink app is also pretty great, setting everything up is easy and straight forward. It has all the expected features like motion detection, 24/7 recording, local recording with a micro SD card (not included), night vision, and event recording. The floodlight is also super bright and provides a lot of angle adjustments. I can easily light up my entire yard at night which is great for my dogs using the bathroom and as added security and deterrent. I was also very happy to see it has a slider to change the light colour from bright white to a nice warm colour.Overall I love this camera, it is super sturdy, has excellent image quality, easy to use, includes bright floodlights, and works off of PoE making it more stable. It is not a cheap security camera but well worth the higher cost for a quality product.
