“Best Compact Sonos Yet – Big Upgrade in Sound and Seamless Integration
The Era 100 is exactly why I keep coming back to Sonos. At this point I have 20+ Sonos products throughout my home, and every time they release something new, I wonder if it’ll actually move the needle. This one absolutely does. The sound quality is a noticeable step up from previous models in this size. The stereo separation is wider, the bass is fuller without being muddy, and vocals come through incredibly clean. It easily fills a room, and pairing two of them takes things to another level.Setup, as always with Sonos, is seamless. It integrated into my existing system in minutes, and Trueplay tuning helped dial everything in perfectly for the space. I also appreciate the updated controls- more intuitive and responsive than older models. One of the biggest advantages of Sonos is how everything just works together, and the Era 100 fits right into that ecosystem. Whether I’m grouping rooms, streaming music, or switching between TV audio and playlists, it’s effortless. If you’re already in the Sonos ecosystem, this is a no-brainer upgrade. If you’re new to Sonos, this is one of the best entry points you can buy. Clean design, excellent sound, and the reliability Sonos is known for – easy 5 stars.

A great small speaker to give you high-quality audio in a smaller room
If you’re looking to add wireless speakers, etc. to your TV or other entertainment devices, Sonos is the way to go. Sonos is quite expensive, but you’re buying not only high-quality audio devices but also the flexibility of being wireless for sound and the interconnectedness of all the Sonos devices. The Sonos app recognizes all of your various devices and makes it easy for them to work together. You can assign devices to specific rooms or, if you want, set up a home audio network where music is played everywhere. The Sonos app also integrates access to Apple Music, Amazon Music, or just the Sonos music that they offer. For a home theater, starting with a Sonos soundbar opens the door for adding other Sonos speakers and a Sonos subwoofer. The sound bar, while using the Sonos application on your smartphone, will recognize other speakers and a subwoofer in the room. You also can configure the speakers to work separately, or they can be part of a surround sound system tied to the Sonos sound bar.The nice thing about each of the system audio components is that individually, you can touch the component (a speaker or soundbar for example) and control the room sound level, so you don’t always have to go to the Sonos app on your smartphone to do so.You can get great sound for your entertainment system without requiring a receiver and complicated wiring. Generally, you just need:• A power cable• An HDMI cable for connecting to a TV• Preferably an Ethernet cable so all the devices can work over your Wi-Fi network• The Sonos subwoofer can work wirelessly, without requiring an Ethernet cable connection which is optional

    🌟🌟🌟Sonos Sound🌟🌟🌟
Sonos has been making some very good Bluetooth speakers and the audio quality of their products is excellent for Bluetooth. The Era 100 integrates seamlessly with my Roam speakers to give me a nice full sound in the house, and I have greatly enjoyed it! I have been a Bose snob for decades but except for the Sonos software hiccup a little while back, the Sonos speakers and software have always been great! The fact that their speakers support AirPlay and Bluetooth pretty seamlessly, and are capable of grouping with a couple of clicks is a huge adavatage over the Bose software, especially when connecting Bluetooth speakers. The Era 100 sounds great, is nice to look at and can be semi-portable. Definitely worth the $$ for the sound quality.

Want my money back. Utterly Useless for streaming music due to horrible software
What a shame. When they work the sound is amazing. The problem. They never work for streaming music because of a woeful update to its software. Even the NYT, which once recommended the system as the best has changed its mind. About three months ago Sonos updated its system software that literally rendered my entire Sonos speaker system (This Sonos Era 100 included) useless. To use this system as a music streaming device, you must use the Sonos App. Sonos used to have one of the best apps in the business. Intuitive with amazing functionality. A few months ago they tried to update it, basically trying to make it look more like Amazon music. It was an utter failure. Folks like me are wanting to sell their entire system. I stayed with sonos for three months now since they promised they would make things right. They have not. The speakers stop streaming music after playing just one song. Nearly no commands work correctly. When I tell it to stop playing a song. It does not listen. I manually have to press the button on the speaker. This system was developed so you could talk to it and play all music across an entire CD. That used to be possible. Now it is not. Literally stops playing after one song. Via voice prompt, when you tell it to go to the next song, it cannot. We Sonos music streamers have lost the capability to stream music directly from our device’s own music library. Many of us bought Sonos because we wanted to have great speakers that would directly play music from our phones or our shared music library folders on our computers. That functionality has ceased to exist. Run! Don’t walk. And return these speakers. Their only use today is as a bluetooth device where you have to physically press each song you want to move onto via whatever controlling system you have for bluetooth. The Sonos incompetence here I cannot overstate. A once great company and music system has fallen. Such a shame. It did not have to be this way. If I could speak to the CEO of Sonos I would tell him this: Your bread and butter was your speaker system, not headphones, not other products. Get back to the basics. Restore the streaming functionality that allowed us to enjoy music via touchless voice commands and software that was once top notch. I have five Sonos speakers for sale. I hate to do it, but I am making all my speakers Amazon speakers. At least Amazon respects it customers by doing research before launching new products that destroy the functionality of what used to be. Goodbye, Sonos. Forever!

Really great and loud wifi speaker! I think you can also use it via Bluetooth but I have not tried that yet.I would mention the features and such but would ask anyone to click on my profile and check out my review on the Sonos Beam speaker as that should give an idea on what Sonos offers. For those just looking for a speaker to use around the house or plugged in at small house parties or such this small speaker provides quite the sound for its size. If you pair it with a sub or sub mini even more so.Especially on sale, I would say this beats out many other small speakers for its size and audio quality. The size is probably a close to medium sized sugar jar!
