Good, solid HomeKit plugs
These seem to work fairly well, certainly better than the WeMo plugs i got them to replace. They connect with HomeKit nicely and function reliably. Unfortunately, the power monitoring and usage tracking isn’t exposed in HomeKit (though to be fair, this is a HomeKit limitation… my Eve plugs share this limitation as well… what differs is that I can use Eve’s app in addition to HomeKit to access those extra features.) as far as I can tell, I have to choose one or the other with these plugs – either use in HomeKit or use in the SwitchBot app and gain access to those features. As nice as energy tracking would be, it’s a secondary feature for me… so for the price, which is a pretty good value, and their functioning in HomeKit, they do the job and do it well.
