The USB cable that connects to a powerbank however has failed, I’ll try reaching out to the manufacture to see if they can offer any after-sales service. Overall, still pretty good for the price, so I’ll just take off 1 star. Depending on the manufacture’s response, I’ll update again.Original review:Going back to school and needed a proper backpack. Was using a shoulder bag but felt that wasn’t going to cut it. Looked for the cheapest one and found this backpack for only $12 USD. Thought it would be a mess with flimsy fabric that easily rips.Very surprised upon receipt that the quality of the fabric and stitching seems comparable to columbia and jansport. The zipper also worked smoothly as well – didn’t catch on the fabric at all.Note that the backpack is divided into three larger compartments from the top, and two smaller ones at the very front and the very back. The middle larger compartment is closed with two zippers. Everything else is just one. The rear larger compartment has a slot for a laptop with a velcro strap and a pocket in front. What this means is that if you intend to carry a bunch of books, this backpack probably won’t be for you. A binder, change of light clothes for the gym, laptop, accessories, school supplies, and a couple textbooks fits just fine though.As for the cable that allows you to connect a power bank to the backpack, it’s USB A on both ends (male to female) and seems to be able to carry at least 15W. I didn’t do any actual testing other than to have my phone plugged in and checking current draw with accubattery. Good thing is the dongle is removable and can either be left empty (a rubber flap keeps stray water from flowing in, but doesn’t provide tight seal) or you can just run a better USB cable through (mmm like PD140 usb c).All in all, I’m quite impressed. I still expect that it will someday fall apart, but if that happens, I’ll update review accordingly.
