Great little scale
This scale is the perfect size for my kitchen. Love that it has liquid volume and different units for weight (gm, oz, etc). This is my second one. I’ve been happy for 10+ years with this model. Highly recommended.

Eats batteries
This thing eats batteries. The batteries died a mere 3 weeks after installing them for the first time after purchase. I thought it had to be a fluke. Just out of curiosity, I put a sticker with the date on it on the battery compartment door when I changed the batteries. One month and 4 days later, the batteries died. Again. So the first time was not a fluke. It has a nice large platform and is waterproof but I can’t justify the excessive battery use. I wish I had returned it the first time the batteries needed replacing because now it’s past the return date.

Love the idea of this, but it is defective
It was tough for me to rate this accurately because I love the slim design, the size of the scale, the amount of weight that it can hold and that it’s waterproof. (Although I wouldn’t submerge in water, just nice to know that it can get wet.) HOWEVER, it’s not accurate and will fluctuate while an item is sitting on it. I will remove the item without changing anything, place it back on and get a different reading. It’s not doing what the actual function of the scale should do.Unfortunately I didn’t use it right away and missed the 30 day return window. There was no way to contact the Amazon seller. I reached out to Taylor (in US) and they confirmed it was defective and were willing to replace it but they didn’t have the identical scale. This one came from the UK via Amazon. Amazon stepped in and offered a solution but it’s really a shame that there was no way to reach the seller, as I think they should be responsible in replacing the defective scale.I’ve read some similar reviews and am now skeptical to use a Taylor scale. Will look at other brands.

Excellent scales. Nice and large but not too large to fit easily in drawer. Accurate. Easy to use. I love the white frosted glass look and the blue LED. People have commented that hard to open battery container. It’s not hard….but the effort comes as the battery seal ensures the product is waterproof. Huge bonus that it’s waterproof. I love these scales. Legitimately waterproof unlike others with picture of running tap water but comments report not really waterproof. This one is!

Really like these scales. Large platform takes the largest of my Kenwood bowls and Le Creuset pans no problem. Accurate to use and large display. Easy clean as no joints etc. You need a screwdriver to get into the battery compartment, but this has a waterproof seal; so a good idea and I am sure the batteries will last ages and doubt I will need back in there for quite a while. I have found them fairly accurate at both very low readings and heavier weights.
