Was a little nervous being no reviews had been left for this number lock but it was Super easy to put in & Fit our older door pretty well. The App was super easy to set up and use. It tells you who used what code to open the door and when. You can also unlock it from the app and set and auto lock function. I like that it beeps a low beep when you unlock or lock the door. I tried to get in contact with customer service about pairing it with our Alexa devices but haven’t gotten a response yet.

Works best with a single lock door
My three doors leading to the outside all have bottom locks and deadbolts, so this didn’t end up working out for me where i intended to put it. I didn’t want to remove my deadbolt and have a piece of that hole open to the outside.I tested this out on my door leading to the basement. Installation and setting up the app were easy and could be done by most people with zero experience being a locksmith.You don’t need the gateway for this to use it, but it’s a good idea to get one for added functionality. The gateway slowed allows you to unlock it remotely, which could be a literal lifesaver in some situations.I love the idea of this in case i get locked out since i live alone. I’ll definitely search for a brand that works with double lock doors.If you’ve got a single lock door, this is a great option. I could also see this working in situations where you’ve got roommates and don’t want them in your room when you’re not home. Or maybe you have a room that you don’t want children to enter. It’s a great idea.This works with AA alkaline batteries that are not included.

Easy to Install, Not Heavy-Duty — Double-Check Your Door Hinges Before Buying
Last night I installed this smart lock on my man cave’s front door because I was tired of constantly losing my keys. The installation was surprisingly simple. From start to finish, it took me less than half an hour. I honestly didn’t even need the instructions (though they’re clear), and all the necessary hardware was included. I didn’t have to modify the door at all. If you’ve ever replaced a standard handle before, this will feel very manageable.Once installed, setting up the app was just as easy. It connects quickly and works very well. Adding or removing user codes is straightforward, which is great if you’re giving access to guests. I’ve used other keypad locks that rely only on button-based programming, and that can get annoying and overly complicated. The app definitely makes things smoother.One thing to pay attention to is the handle design. The indoor handle can be switched to avoid hitting the door frame, and I had to reverse mine. It was easy to do. However, the outside handle is not reversible. In my case, it’s fine because my door opens outward. If your door opens inward, hinge placement matters. Hinges on the left side should be fine, but if they’re on the right, closing the door could be less convenient. It’s something to double-check before buying.As for security, I see this lock as more convenient than heavy-duty. It does a good job keeping the door locked and managing codes, which is what I wanted. That said, the exterior handle doesn’t feel extremely robust. I wouldn’t rely on it as the main security lock for a high-risk entry door. For a bedroom, interior space, or light-use area like my man cave, it works well.
