How to Work 2-Way Intercom:
When someone presses the doorbell, it can activate the monitor. Presses the dial key on the monitor to talk with your visitor, press it again to turn off 2-way intercom.Protects kids and other family members at home alone with our wireless doorbell camera with monitor.
How to install:
1.Please pair the doorbell with the monitor. Hold the key “M” on the monitor to enter in connection, then press and hold the doorbell button to connect.
2.Please test the signal between those locations you want to place the doorbell and the monitor.
3.The range of signal is 16.4ft-320ft/5m-100m on open air. The range of signal is 16.4ft-98ft/5m-30m if there are obstacles(door, wall, window and so on).
4.Please install the doorbell on the door via 3M self-adhesive tape or screws. It is recommended to install on the upper end of the door handle if it is iron door. And 5ft far away the ground.
5.Please install the monitor in the place you want, the monitor need to be charged by 5V charger(not included) and USB cable.
6.If there is no operation for 30 seconds, the monitor can turn off automatically, press the dial key for 3 seconds to wake up the monitor.
Warm Tips:
1. The wall, window, metal door and so on, they can weaken the signal, please test and install the doorbell in a place with good signal.2. It isn’t motion activated. If no one presses the doorbell, it enters the standby mode, and the monitor can’t activate the doorbell camera. 3. The doorbell camera automatically capture and record a video for 20-25 second when the doorbell is pressed(with a TF card inserted).4. There is the echo if the monitor is too close to the doorbell, please move them away or lower the volume.

It isn’t motion activated.
If you are looking for a doorbell camera with an intercom that is NOT motion activated then this coyotes be the one for you. I should have read more throughout because I thought it was like a cheap version of a Ring type camera. My mistake but I think they should make that clearer on their site.Beyond that it works pretty well. If someone rings the bell, you can see their video on your monitor box. You can talk to the person like an intercom and take a picture or video. If they don’t ring the bell to turn it on then no picture or video. This would be great if you are older and can’t run to the door or a similar situation. You could send peddlers on their way and ask those you want to see to wait for a minute until you can let them in. My grandmother really needed one like this! For myself, I want something that would record and alert me if someone were at the door that would start up when they were coming up the walk.The video is clear and it is very simple to set up. Just know what the limitations are to this device so you won’t be disappointed.

Works ok but the battery in the battery in the camera/doorbell unit lasts only 2 days. Disappointing.
