Stayed on the windshield well. No problems with that. I wish it would stick out just a little farther, but I suppose that’s going to be different with different windshields.I ended up buying one that charges the phone when you put it in the cradle. This one has room for the cord, but you have to plug it in every time. I bought it to use as a gig driver. I just want to put in in the cradle or take it out without the extra step of plugging it in or unplugging it. I’m in and out of the car too often.I also wanted to be able to use a sun shade in the windshield. It gets too hot here not to use one, and this stuck to the windshield prevented that.

I live in California, so I’m on rough roads a lot and use my phone daily for navigation. I’ve tried cheap mounts, mid-range ones, and even “military-grade” versions. Most failed the same way—suction cups melting off in the heat, vent clips sagging, arms wobbling, or my phone flying off over a pothole.About a year ago, I bought the VANMASS Ultimate Model mostly out of frustration. I mainly use the dashboard mount, but the vent option held up fine during testing.The one-click release works consistently, and the grips hold my phone securely without scratching it.After nearly a year of daily use, it’s easily the most reliable car phone mount I’ve owned.

It serves its purpose and build quality seems reasonable. I’m not convinced that over a prolonged period of time the spring to release the phone from the cradle will hold up, but for now its OK. At the price point I would recommend it.

This phone holder is pretty good! You can attach it to the windscreen and attach it to a vertical heating panel. The windscreen one, I find for my iPhone 15 is a little heavy, so use the heater attachment. Yes I have switched the heater off but it is very sturdy. I drive a 75 plate HGV and there is a grab handle next to the heater, due to the hard suspension, I lean the phone against this handle and it is quite steady. Excellent value for money, fits the phone quite well, even with a brick metal phone cover, ease of use and great compatibility. If you want a strong phone holder, this is the one for you.
