As other reviewers stated, be sure its compatible with your lock. Setup can be a pain
These gateways for smart locks can be very cumbersome to set up. I have owned a few and each time it is a challenge. Tuya Gateways are generally compatible with many locks but be certain your smart lock has Tuya protocol. Once you get the gateway setup, it usually is pretty easy to get the lock to sync with it. Then you can control the lock via Tuya app.I wish these lock gateways were easy to set up and use but with some time and effort, it’s not too hard. Works well once fully connected. This gateway is similar to others I’ve used. Pretty standard. Price is standard too. It’s perfectly good choice vs other private brand gateways. I would recommend

Connecting it to WiFi and pairing it with the lock took a bit of patience, and the instructions weren’t as clear as they could be. But after everything was finally connected, it worked smoothly with the Tuya Smart app and allowed me to control the lock remotely without any issues.One important note: make sure your specific lock model is compatible before buying. Once confirmed, the gateway integrates well and responds reliably through the app and voice assistants. The compact design is a nice touch too — it blends in easily and doesn’t take up much space.Overall, a solid four stars. A little challenging to set up, but once it’s running, it does its job exactly as expected.
