Works great once the keyboard brackets are reversed
I purchased this electric desk riser knowing that many of the reviews stating that it will not lower to the level of the desk. This concerned me but the main reason for this is that the brackets for the keyboard tray are mislabeled. Once I changed the one labeled for the left to the right and vice versa, the keyboard tray clears the base and rests correctly flat on the desk. I suppose it’s possible that they are labeled correctly if you’re facing the back of the desk. The giveaway for the keyboard not being mounted correctly is that the lower part of the bracket should be further from the main part of the riser as shown in my second picture.Depending upon the riser’s durability, this is a 5 star purchase. I don’t feel comfortable lowering the rating due to the package mislabeling because it was easy enough to figure out.

I recently got the VIVO 42 Inch Electric Motor Desk, and I’m really happy with it.Sturdiness: The desk is very sturdy and stable.Space: It offers enough room for my laptop, two monitors and a few other items without feeling cluttered.Ease of Lifting: The electric motor lifts smoothly and is really easy to use.Mobility: While I don’t move it around often, it’s lightweight enough to relocate if needed.Performance: It works great, transitioning smoothly between sitting and standing.Appearance: The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly in my workspace.Overall, it’s a fantastic desk that I highly recommend!

Awesome Desk Riser for Work
I wanted a desk riser for my office at work so I could stand more throughout the day instead of sitting down all day. I have 2 monitors sitting on the riser and I have my work laptop on a laptop stand beside the desk riser. This is the best investment I’ve made and the desk riser is awesome with helping you stand while also working. I love that it is electric and easy to push the buttons to raise or lower the stand. I do have to be mindful of not lowering/exceeding it to the very bottom because the desk riser will tilt back but that is just something you have to be cautious about when using something like this.My only con and suggestion is to move the up and down buttons for the height adjustment because since I’m right handed my knuckles keep hitting the buttons which can be frustrating at times.Otherwise, this is such a great purchase for anyone who is looking into standing more while working or just getting in that extra movement. I highly recommend!!

Sturdy, nice desk but not for me
Works great, goes up and down seamlessly. However, on the lowest setting the keyboard rests approximately 3 inches off the table and it’s extremely uncomfortable.

Stopped working – Vivo may ask you to rewire it
I am a senior and putting this together was difficult just due to the weight and bulk of the 2 main pieces.I was overjoyed when I finally got it put together, my two monitors all wired up to my docking station and the desk would go up and down. The 2nd day in use, the desk raised up and just stayed there. Checked all the cords, etc. Can’t get it to come back down. Called Vivo support and they said they would be sending me a new control box and emailing instructions on how to rewire my desk with that. I’m 65 and I am not up to this. Can’t manufacturers just make a good product that will work the first time and for a long time???UPDATE: The same thing happened a 2nd time with new control box they told me to install!! The electrical portion of this desk may have been extremely poor, but when I came back to VIVO again with the same problem, their customer service staff (both on the phone and via email) was absolutely great!!!

This stand is excellent—I’ve been using it for a while and find it very practical. It’s truly plug-and-play; no setup or configuration needed.That said, it might not be the best option if you tend to lean or support yourself while working, as it’s not designed for that kind of pressure.In terms of capacity, it holds everything I need without issue: two monitors, a laptop, a couple of books, lots of cables, my phone, and even my morning coffee.P.S. I’m 177 cm tall, and the height is just right for me, considering I’m using it on my desk.

I’m pretty excited for this. Working from home I wanted something that would easily allow me to stand periodically without having to deal with levers or sacrificing my wonderful desk. This meets the mark! The buttons work smooth and the height is great. Lots of room for two large 24” monitors, the keyboard and mouse. It came well packaged and was easy to assemble. It’s pretty much plug and play and you had to mount on two brackets. It is a bit large and awkward to carry so I recommend following the instructions and building in your office (lesson learned). I’ve only had it a day but so far very impressed!

The desk worked fine for 2 days, then stopped working. Cannot lower from the raised position. Seller was contacted and I was sent a new electrical component. This new component does not work either.
