    Works great
I got it for extended laptop battery time, and it works great for that and other devices. Much lighter than expected.

    Great, Portable Charger
As expected. I have a larger Bluetti with a higher wattage capability, but wanted something more compact that could charge my electric scooter, if the battery died when I was out & about. This does the trick. I tested it and it charges my scooter. I’m not sure how much charge it will offer, but my guess it 1 or possibly 2 full charges. In a power outage, I can use it for smaller devices, while my larger battery can keep my refrigerator running. The only downside is that this device charges much more slowly than expected. I haven’t tried to charge via solar panels, but I think that would be even slower.

Great device but with essential parts not provided.
I really like this Westinghouse iGen400s 400 watt, 183Whh Portable Power Station and Solar Generator with built in flashlight. It is lightweight yet packs a lot of functions like the flashlight, being able to charge either cellphones or laptops and even low watt AC devices such as LED lamps and other small appliances. I really really like the fact is is solar and AC powered, has a built in charge controller and inverter for AC devices if you are charging it with a solar panel. It charged up in about 2 hours when i used one of my portable 100 watt solar panels with it a couple of days ago. What I like best about this device is that it can provide you with emergency lights, cellphone and laptop charging during power outages and could even power smaller refrigerators or freezers for a couple of hours and maybe longer if it was continuously connected to a 100 watt solar panel. The flashlight provides a very strong beam of light and is very handy. The LED screen will tell you how many hours of use you have left, how many watts are being taken out or put in and will flash while it is being charged. It has 3 USB C ports, 2 ports for the cellphone chargers (the end that goes into a the charger, not the cellphone), two AC outlets and one DC In port. What I don’t like about this power station is that the DC IN port is a not frequently used size and it doesn’t come with a cable or adapter that goes into it. None of the solar adapter cables I had worked with it so i had to order a set of barrel adapters for it. Ditto for the USB charger for AC charging. It calls for a 100 watt DC charger with that USB C ending but it was not included. One can charge it with a regular cellphone charger, but it will take much longer to achieve a full charge, so it comes with both ways to charge this device missing or not quite up to the task, such a shame for such a valuable device to not come with essential parts. However, once I did have the correct C size barrel adapter for my solar charging cable, it charged up in about 2 hours with full sun conditions. I would have loved to give this 5 stars but without vital parts it is not functional. I may purchase one of these for a good friend of mine who lives in the west where all the fires are where they are instructed to have an emergency kit in their cars at all times in case they need to evacuate, but i will be sure to provide her with the chargers and connectors she needs to make it functional.

Ensure you get the proper wall adapter if you want to charge this at home.
Was only able to review this AFTER I had to purchase the appropriate wall charger (which this model does not include), and after contacting Westinghouse for specifics. This is Westinghouse’s response to my inquiry:”For home charging of the iGen400s, you should use a USB-C Power Delivery (PD) wall charger, not a separate DC barrel adapter.Required output: USB-C PD charger (100W recommended)Typical spec: 20V ⎓ 5A (100W max support)”That being said, the proper wall charger was ordered, the item fully charged to 100% (went from 80% to 100% in 23 minutes). Was able to fully inflate a queen sized Aerobed without difficulty, and only used 5% charge. No Faults noted either during a charge, or during use.My only complaint thus far is, if you make an item with a DC plug to charge – why not supply said wall charger specifically for that item. I do not foresee myself ever using the supplied Solar power/car adapter or USB-C to USB-C cords to ever charge this thing up.

    Poor quality product and company
Does not charge all the way. Notified the company and they sent a number of automated responses that have nothing to do with the problem. Also, comes with a “free gift” 3-in-1 USB Charging cable if you register the product. I registered the product and did not receive this “free gift.”I would never purchase from this company again.
