How long does the doorbell’s battery work and do I need to buy additional batteries?
The doorbell batteries can work for 30 days , and the display can work for 4-5 hours without being connected to a power source, so we recommend that it can be plugged in during the week!

What triggers motion detection?
This is triggered someone enters the monitored area. You can adjust the sensitivity of the motion detection according to your needs. The reference data here is that the detection distance of the doorbell is 3-4 meters at medium sensitivity setting
Is there a monthly fee for recording stored videos?
No, we’ve paired it with a memory card, so you don’t get stuck with a monthly fee.
We also keep the motion detection recording time within 30S to ensure that you have enough space on your memory card.

Overall, I’m really impressed! The 7-inch screen is great for a quick look, and the video quality is really good considering the price. Setting it up was a piece of cake – the wireless design is genius for renters. Just so you know, the indoor monitor battery only lasts a few hours, so I just leave it plugged in like a digital photo frame – no problem. Also, my front door is solid metal, and I did notice the signal is a bit weaker. I got an extra battery from the seller to use while charging, so there’s no gap in coverage. When you think about how easy it is to set up, the great video quality and the fact that there are no hidden fees, these are really minor trade-offs for a massive upgrade over my old doorbell. It comes with a large screen, which is very convenient, and the operation is very simple.Easy to install, and there is no monthly fee.It has many useful features: the video is very clear, night vision is good, automatic recording works well, and the two-way audio is very practical.Cons:It’s better to have an extra battery for the doorbell, because when the battery is charging, the door is not protected. (I asked the seller, and they do sell extra batteries.)The monitor only works for about 3–4 hours on battery, so most of the time we need to keep it plugged in.If you have a metal door, I don’t recommend buying this. The signal will be very weak. Metal doors affect the signal a lot.Overall:It’s worth buying. If you don’t mind a few small drawbacks, this is much better than most regular doorbells.

Useful and easy to use
Was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install and the features on it. Best of all no monthly payments. Canceled my subscription for other doorbell. I like that when someone rings the doorbell it goes without delay to the monitor and you are able to see and talk to them or reject it. For me there was a small delay to my phone. Need to connect to wifi. Came with 32gb sd card that is convenient. I also like that the doorbell is securely lock in its housing but is removable for charging. Was able to use a long cord that belongs to my android phone to charge it without removing and it didn’t takes long to charge. Also purchased a spare.replacement battery which is easy to change. Finds it very useful and easy to use. Had no problems connecting to the internet and works well. Hopefully it will last a long time.

Works ok
Installation was fairly easy. Wish it had more door bell ringtones or a custom record able ringtone like most phones do. Monitor interface actually treats a door bell press like a phone call with a green accept or red reject choice. We did not use the smart phone app or the WIFI options. We simply use it as a door bell monitor in place of our standard wired door bell, which leads to our next issue. Some existing videos say it can be wired to an existing power supply. For this unit to be properly wired to an existing door bell simply to power the rechargeable battery rather than pulling the battery each time it requires charging, you either bringing it inside to use one of the “Y” ends of the included power cord, or connect a “C” USB cable directly under the battery to recharge. To hard wire there would have to be a fairly large hole behind the entry wall to hide the terminal connector that comes in the box. It can be wired directly but required some finesse. Too early to tell if that wired hook up is even working because the battery must be inserted for the unit to work and should never require separate charging if hard wired.Streaming when just viewing the camera has a slight delay, but comes on faster with a button press.We are currently not using the included memory card or the motion detection since we have constant traffic movement.Picture quality is 1080 clear but slightly fish eye because of its wide angle which is acceptable.Mounting requires a fairly large surface since the camera bell mount is about 5×1.5 inches. It over hanged our siding and we used 1 top screw and Velcro to mount to avoid drilling extra holes if the unit did not work for us.

DO NOT BUY IF YOU HAVE AN ANDROID PHONE! IT IS NOT COMPATABILE AND WILL NOT WORK PROPERLY. The live video will record on the monitor but will not record on my smart phone. I want to know how can I get the videos to record on my smart phone to. All I get is pictures of who is at my door on my phone. This says it can record video on the phone but mine doesn’t.

This was a gift for my grandparents, and the built-in display is what really sold me. It’s very friendly for seniors because they don’t have to rely on a smartphone. They can see visitors directly on the 7-inch screen, and the whole system is very easy to use.The video quality is good, and the night vision is also very strong.We’ve been using it for two weeks now with no problems at all.If you have elderly family members at home, this is a great gift idea. They will definitely be very happy with it.
