Troubleshooting network connection issues:
(1) The doorbell camera only works with 2.4GHz Wi-fi. Please connect it to a 2.4GHz network.
(2) Double-check that you are entering the correct Wi-Fi name and password.
(3) Verify the distance between the camera and the Wi-fi router; the camera should be within 33 feet (10 meters) of the router.
(4) Please enable Bluetooth on your phone, but you don’t need to connect Bluetooth with the device, just ensure the Bluetooth is on.
(5) If you changed your Wi-Fi password, or your camera got disconnected, please reset the Wi-fi connection with the camera: Press and hold the ring button until the camera was reset, and then add the camera again back to the same App account.

1:Does the doorbell camera support 5GHz Wi-Fi?
A: The doorbell camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. If your router provides both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, please name them differently and connect the camera to the 2.4GHz band.
2: How wide is the security camera’s detection area?
A：The effective range is roughly 20 to 25 feet.
3: Will the video be stored without a cloud storage subscription?
A：Without a cloud storage subscription, the device will not store any recorded videos or support live view. You won’t be able to play back or view historical video records. After subscribing to the cloud storage service, the device will keep your videos for the last 30 days.

Easy Setup, Clear Video, and Great Value!
The SearByte Wireless Video Doorbell Camera was incredibly easy to set up it only took me about 15 minutes from start to finish. The instructions were straightforward, and everything connected quickly without any issues.One thing I really like is the chime. It’s nice and loud and can easily be heard throughout the house, so there’s no chance of missing someone at the door. I also appreciate that you have two mounting options: you can either drill it into the wall for a permanent install or use the adhesive tape that comes with it, which makes installation very convenient.The video quality is great and provides a clear view of who’s at the door. The camera works perfectly and gives me the extra visibility and security I was looking for.Overall, this doorbell is very affordable, great quality, and works exactly as expected. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

Don’t waste your time
There are several issues with this..Number one, in order for you to get any moving picture at all, you have to purchase a subscription. This was not clear. I thought I would at least get to see 10 seconds of a moving video.. I was not aware I would have to pay for a subscription to use this device.Number two, by the time you get into the app to see who is at your door, there are so many other windows/ads to click through..The person is long gone. It should not take more than a second to see who is there!Number three, The app has all sorts of English errors. So it’s hard to understand.. Even the subscription cost is confusing.. saying it costs 00.0089.. But really ends up being $30 for 6 months..I’ll also add that the battery life is terrible. It drains very fast.I’m frustrated that we took the time to drill this into our door frame.. connect it to our phone.. Just to hate it and need to return it.. Don’t waste your time. Go with a a well-known brand. The instructions will be clear, and you’ll get a more quality experience.

Great picture, super easy setup however; don’t like that you have to have a subscription in order too see prior videos or any videos. In fact if your not right on top of watching it you can’t look back if something were to have happened while you were asleep

Decent Video Doorbell Camera For Money!
Pleasantly surprised by the quality, durability, and workmanship of this device. If I there was an option of rating the camera itself, it would be 5-Stars.Pairing my cameras (I purchased 2, front and back yards) were straight forward. Anyone with some knowledge of today’s technology should not get too hung up on connecting this device to your home network’s 2.4 GHZ WiFi. Most of today’s routers run both, however defaults to 5 GHZ, it it may take some know-how to tweak the network settings to required frequency.Installing the camera is straightforward, with 2 options. You can mount it by drilling and using included anchors and screws, or by using the supplied two-sided adhesive. This choice will depend on your door frame.Pairing device to app is also simple. An added feature to this camera systems is the included doorbell chime that plugs in your home into an outlet. Not only will the app on your device notify you of someone ringing the doorbell, but the in-home chime will ring as well.The video quality is amazing compared to other well known name brand devices. The night vision is very good with some adequate outdoor lighting.Battery life is decent, but it will depend on your settings within the app that will determine how often you will have to charge.All of the above mentioned features make this an excellent value for your money.My gripe comes with the app itself. I live in a rural area and I have a camera mounted at both my front and back doors. My house sits a bit off of the main highway I’m on, however my front cam will pick up every car passing by (video attached). The app does not have an option to adjust the sensitivity of the motion it captures. So, I receive alerts all day long. The only way for me to curb them is to turn on Human Detection, which limits actual motion that may occur like a car driving into my driveway. The Human Detection feature works very well, but it seems as if it is one or the other.My other concern is my back door cam. It alerts constantly every afternoon when hit with direct sunlight. It is an annoyance. The app allows you to snooze alerts, but that defeats the purpose of having the cameras in the first place.My only suggestion is to make an option to adjust the sensitivity of motion and this will be a 5-Star rated product for the money.
