Best Upgrade to Arlo System in Years
Set up was initially easier than the static cameras I have. I did run into a problem after the firmware update of having to restart the device a number of times as it would never stay connected to the network a full day. Eventually figured out you have to manually restart the camera using the button on the device, not via the app. It has worked perfectly since. Very quick detection, it moves pretty well (not butter smooth, but just fine for the price and purpose). Image is very clear, audio is clear, it sees all the way to road in black and white at night. Color image at night it sees only to the edge of the yard, but the color is very good for low light what it does see. I definitely recommend these over the Pro 4’s as they don’t slowly dip and I am not getting constant motion detections when the wind blows the bushes. It also captures just prior to motion clips, which is a huge improvement over the delay clips the Pro 4’s have.

Decent for the money.
I moved up from a 1080p Arlo system to this, so already the video quality is night and day. And the motion detection is far superior as well.As far as this particular model so far it connected easily and after a minute of playing around I had it set up and mounted on a wall facing my driveway next to the old camera. It was easy to see even in a static position that this was a better viewing angle and picture. But I’d often thought of adding a second camera to cover the other side of the driveway and this is where the unit shines. I made a preset for each direction and a home spot in the middle. Now I can see everything I need to quickly and easily. The motion detection seems to start before something comes into frame which is awesome, as my old cameras sometimes missed half the surveillance or started when someone was already walking/driving away. Yeah, the movement is a little janky, but it’s a super cheap motor and mount attached to a pretty decent camera. And for the price I think it’s a great value. We’ll see how the PTZ portion holds up, but for a super easy to use system in an app I already was familiar with this is a big upgrade, and any qualms I have about the build quality or performance are stifled by the price.

I bought the 2-camera bundle of the Arlo Essential Pan Tilt Security Camera 2K and it exceeded my expectations. The pan and tilt feature gives full coverage, so I don’t need multiple cameras to monitor the same area. The video quality is very sharp, and even at night, the image is clear and detailed. I also love how it automatically tracks motion — it makes everything feel more secure and reliable. Setup was super easy and the app is very intuitive. Definitely a great investment for home security.

O app disponível para nós brasileiros é antigo , sendo que na hora de configurar a câmera mesma , nem existe a opção de adicionar a mesma. Não comprem esse produto , pois não tem como ser configurado no Brasil. Existe uma explicação para isso. Essa câmera esta disponível para compra via Amazon Global , e no Brasil apenas uma versão antiga do APP esta disponível para o Brasil.
