The combination of dual sensors, a hub with an 85 dBA alarm, and real‑time Wi‑Fi notifications gives me real peace of mind—especially when I’m away from home.Setup & App Experience:The quick‑start manual was simple and clear, which made the initial setup straightforward. I did run into a small snag when trying to create an account manually, but switching to Sign in with Google solved the issue instantly. From there, pairing the hub and the two sensors couldn’t have been easier—just put each device into learning mode and scan the barcode in the app. Everything connected on the first try.The Leak Alert 360 app is clean, intuitive, and informative. The dashboard gives you an at‑a‑glance view of all sensors, including current status and—one feature I particularly appreciate—battery life indicators. The app also sends notifications when battery levels drop, making it easy to stay ahead of maintenance.Performance & Build Quality:Both sensors are very compact and feel well‑built. With their IP67 waterproof rating and the fact that they even float, they’re clearly designed for real‑world leak and flood scenarios. The Leak Alert 360 Water Detection Kit by Zircons is a smart water detection system. It utilizes a hub and a couple of sensors that when in contact with water sounds an alarm and send a notification to your smartphone or tablet. The system supports 8 sensors with the ‘Basic’ subscription, which is free for one year.This kit is very simple to setup and when configured the hub can charge and monitor the sensors and deliver alerts configured in the Leak Alert 360 app.The Leak Alert 360 app is only available on Apple iOS compatible devices, which leaves Android users out of this ecosystem. No need to worry since there are plenty of water leak kit options available. Some of them are available from well known brands that offer similar features and even cost less.Water leaks can cause mold and massive damages to a property. I recently encountered a frozen pipe, which could have spelled trouble, if I was not home when it happened.A leak detector kit can be an inexpensive but powerful system that can send instant alerts about the presence of water.I placed these sensors on the laundry room, water heater and heating boiler, where leaks may occur. When in contact with water the sensor immediately flashes a red LED , it triggers an alarm on the charging hub and simultaneously sends a text notification and email to any contacts designated in the LA 360 app.I get alerts on my phone, no matter where I am, which lets me take fast action and shut down water to prevent conditions from getting worse.The Leak Alert 360 Water Detection Kit by Zircons is a very good unit and it can be placed anywhere in the home where there is a risk for water damage It is easy to setup, it offers smart detections and does deliver instant alerts. It is only available on Apple iOS devices though and it offer just a single year of free service.I have installed and used a few brands and I think every home should have one for peace of mind.

The build quality for these sensors and base station feels high while functionality is good. Note that you cannot disable the audio alarm on the charging hub, when water is detected at a sensor it will sound the 85db alarm at the hub. Also note that there’s a free 1-year subscription with the product but after 1-year you need to pay for a basic subscription.Included with this kit is the charging hub, 2 sensors, a USB-C power cord, and a USB power plug. You also need an Apple phone in order to set it up as the app is not currently available for Android and you can’t set it up without a phone app.The charging hub charges and connects to the sensors. There’s a button on top used when pairing the hub with your phone. A USB-C plug is on the top for connecting to power. The hub and both sensors do have batteries. The battery in the hub is used as a backup. The hub measures approximately 5.2″ by 2.9″ by 1.3″. I weighed the charging hub at 4.66 ounces.The sensors are small with 2 metal sensors showing on the base. There’s a light that will flash red when they are detecting water. Green when fully charged when on the charging hub. And purple when you remove them until they are ready to sense. The sensors measure approximately 2.1″ square by 1.3″ tall.The USB power supply is a simple 5V 2A USB charger.For setup, you install the iPhone app and then add devices. Adding the hub first and then each sensor. The app is pretty good and once you have everything added you can set email, text, and push notification alerts for leak detection, no Wi-Fi signal, and low battery.All notifications worked well in my testing. I like the options of email and text.
