Awesome product
My favorite thing about this is how easy it was to set up. I had zero problems using the app or the programs to put this all together which is a rare thing. The app was super easy to use, the instructions were easy to follow, and it works really well. I love being able to check on the temperature of my greenhouse when I’m away from home and I love that it comes with three sensors so I could put one outside and one in my basement to keep an eye on everything. The historic data graphs are really useful as well and help me keep track of the highs and lows of the day. The humidity tracker is really useful in the greenhouse. Overall I’m extremely happy with this and I might end up getting some more sensors in the future. I included some pictures from the app so you can see what it looks like.

Good fridge or freezer monitors
Great way to keep track of fridges or freezers. Works especially well if you have other Govee products and utilize the gateway.The sensors let us know when we had a freezer door that didn’t get shut all the way before the freezer got to warm. Able to set the temperature thresholds that I want and see history of the device.

Good unit , would buy again
The unit is working great and the app features are helpful. However, the startup instructions are not the best. I could not get the temperature monitor to find the ‘gateway’ for internet connection. It took contacting customer support to help me through the connection process. They were prompt and very helpful.

I’ve only had these 5 days but they are fantastic! Easy to install (although the instruction booklet is somewhat lacking). I bought this because my thermostat doesn’t have a battery backup and it went offline for 14 hours when I wasn’t home. Upon return I walked into a very cold house and decided to get something that would alert me when either temperature or humidity go out of range. The app is GREAT! Easy installation, pair to the wifi, and set up devices. The devices are all smaller than I expected– about the size of two fingers– but that just makes them easy to place or hang anywhere. I also purchased two smart plugs which I’m using to set up schedules to turn on/ off lights. The app will support up to 10 devices. It provides a piece of mind to quickly know the temperature and humidity within the monitored rooms since I can access the app anytime. Each device also shows the battery level so you’re not taken by surprise when it needs replaced and they use 2 standard AA batteries in each monitors I set values in the app to test the alert features and it works like a charm for both the phone and email notification. Govee offers other products that I’m considering since these work so well.

Great for an RV with Starlink
Works just as I hoped and was easy to set up. We have Starlink in our RV and I wanted to be able to check on the temp remotely from my phone – works great! It very clearly says it only works on a 2.4G wireless network, but I was easily able to set up a 2.4G network on the Starlink app.

High Quality
Wow! From the time I handled the package I knew I was dealing with a high end product which I didn’t really expect for the price (Think Iphone Packaging). I was a little leary about the purchase because I wasn’t sure about the 2.4 Ghz thing so I chatted with Verizon who said it was “absolutely compatible” with their routers. I figured I would have to jump through some hoops dealing with that but in the set up it never came up. The gateway connected instantly to my internet and then paired with the sensors and my phone flawlessly. (note the pairing button is under battery cover). Mine did not need to be calibrated as temperatures matched my fancy mercury thermometer. As a kid in the 80’s I used to have graph paper on the refrigerator where I would plot the days high and low temps for the whole year. A little nerdy but my dad was a physics teacher and it got me interested in science in math. Fast forward and today’s kids have this easy but it is still a great educational tool. You learn to interpret graphs, analyze data, and discover the patterns that exist in nature between temperature, dew point, and humidity. This would make a great gift for someone to develop a science fair project with. Data can be exported to excel so your kiddo can learn all kind of computer skills. They could even investigate how VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) effects plant growth. This is my first purchase from GOVEE and will definitely be looking at there other Smart Home gadgets like lighting. Oh, and this is the only positive review I have ever been compelled to do on Amazon and I was not compensated for this review.

Super easy to setup
Had them for a week now, working great.These items were the easiest to install and setup of any internet enabled device I’ve ever owned. Installed in a second home to monitor while not in town.

Excellent products! The setting up is a bit clunky but once you get the hand of it, it’s easy peasy. I can now monitor our house for temperature and humidity across several devices plus a timer to start and stop lights.

Easy to setup, functions well. It’s connected to wifi and it sends both text and email alarms. No subscription for notifications. Very happy with this product. I tried two other sensors that either needed a subscription or were too difficult to set up and did not send alarm notifications. This product works as described. I would recommend it!

Bought these to be able to monitor the cottage from home over the winter. We were able to see in real-time, using a straightforward mobile app, the outdoor temp, indoor temp and crawlspace to ensure plumbing didn’t freeze over this past cold winter. Great peace of mind. Shows temp in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. Zero subscription cost. Really love this product!
