Great value, works perfectly
Honestly, I’m so glad I finally grabbed this Rongta printer. I was tired of taping paper onto packages, and this has made my life way easier. I’m not a “tech person,” but the Bluetooth connected to my phone instantly, and the app is pretty straightforward to use.I’ve been using it to ship out some old clothes I sold online, and it’s honestly kind of satisfying to watch the labels fly out so fast. They look super professional and crisp, no more worrying about ink running if it rains! It’s small enough to tuck away on my shelf when I’m not using it, too. For around thirty bucks, it’s a total steal. If you’re sending packages even semi-regularly, just get it!

Shipping Thermal Label Printer
I recently tried the label printer and I’m really impressed. It’s compact, easy to set up, and works great right out of the box. The print quality is sharp and clear, perfect for shipping labels and barcodes.I also love that it’s a thermal printer, so no ink is needed—definitely saves money over time. It comes with everything you need to get started, and once you set the label size correctly, it runs smoothly.Great value for the price. Highly recommend for small businesses or home use!

LABEL PRINTER FAILURE: RONGTA THERMAL DISASTER 🖨️💔 [⭐☠️☠️☠️☠️]
Jay Fray delivering the blunt truth about this Rongta shipping thermal label printer that completely fails to provide reliable printing for shipping operations!Purchased this Rongta thermal shipping label printer expecting dependable label printing for shipping Card Burrow baseball card sales through eBay and managing construction documentation. The printer fails catastrophically with performance so poor it’s essentially unusable.Print quality proves absolutely terrible with labels that either print too faint making barcodes unscannable by carriers, completely black from heat malfunction, or producing inconsistent output that looks unprofessional and risks shipping delays.Connectivity reliability is nonexistent with the printer either failing to connect to computers properly, dropping connection randomly mid-print job, or requiring constant driver reinstallation and troubleshooting making consistent label printing impossible.Paper feed mechanism proves completely unreliable with labels jamming constantly, feeding crooked causing misaligned printing, or skipping labels wasting expensive thermal paper during attempted print jobs.Software and driver compatibility creates endless frustration with installation problems, printing errors from eBay or shipping platforms, or configuration so complicated it prevents straightforward label printing workflow.Build quality feels extremely cheap with flimsy plastic construction that won’t survive shipping department handling. The printer appears ready to break from normal use creating replacement costs that eliminate any initial savings.Print speed disappoints significantly with slow label production creating shipping bottlenecks during busy periods when efficient order fulfillment requires fast reliable label printing. The printer may work intermittently creating false hope before failing again, making it unreliable for business operations requiring consistent shipping label production. For shipping labels requiring dependability, invest in quality thermal printers from established brands like Rollo or Dymo rather than Rongta garbage that fails immediately.Jay Fray verdict: Complete thermal printer failure with terrible reliability making shipping operations impossible. Useless for any business requiring dependable professional label printing!

Bluetooth issues, but okay overall
Works well but was never able to connect to computer using Bluetooth. Other than that it’s a good product.

Excellent label printer
I bought this label printer to organize my office and I’m really happy with it. Setup was very easy, and I was printing labels within minutes. The print quality is crisp, with clear and well-defined text. I love that it’s compact and doesn’t take up much desk space. The connection is also stable, and the app is easy to use with various design options and label sizes. It’s definitely an excellent investment for both home use and small businesses. I highly recommend it.

After setting this up on my phone and laptop, it has been working great so far. The labels are dark and sharp and the barcodes scan reliably on the first try. The Bluetooth connection is stable, and the compact size is nice as it doesn’t take up a lot of desk space. It’s fast enough for daily batches, and it’s easy enough to load the labels. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s monochrome and not really meant for high volume warehouse work. But for regular shipping or even for small businesses it’s a nice tool to have.

As of this date, January 2026, the regular price of this item is $99.99.Additionally, this is a Next-Day delivery item with Prime, perfect for a last-minute gift or purchase.I received this thermal label printer to try out and tested it in a small home-office setup, mainly for printing 4×6 shipping labels. I used it both with a laptop and a smartphone to see how smooth the setup process was and how consistent the print quality felt in everyday use.Initial setup was straightforward. The printer connected without much friction via USB on a computer, and Bluetooth pairing with a phone was also simple using the companion app. Once connected, the printer was recognized quickly, and label alignment didn’t require much trial and error. For basic shipping labels, it was essentially plug-and-play.Print quality is clear and sharp for text, barcodes, and standard shipping layouts. The thermal printing is consistent, with no noticeable fading or uneven lines during recent use. Print speed feels fast enough for small batches, and the printer keeps up well without stalling or overheating. Since it doesn’t use ink, there’s very little ongoing maintenance beyond loading labels correctly. The unit itself is compact and lightweight, which makes it easy to place on a desk without taking up much space. Build quality feels solid enough for regular small-business use, though it’s not designed to handle very high-volume commercial environments. As this is still early use, it’s too soon to judge long-term durability or how the mechanism will hold up after thousands of labels.Pros- Easy setup on both computer and mobile devices- Clear, sharp thermal prints for shipping labels- Compact size that fits well in small workspaces- No ink required, keeping maintenance simpleCons- App-based setup may take some getting used to for first-time users- Limited to monochrome printing- Long-term reliability still unknownWho this is for- Small business owners shipping packages regularly- Home offices needing a dedicated label printer- Users who want wireless printing without a bulky setupWho it is not for- High-volume warehouses or industrial shipping operations- Anyone needing colour label printingDurability / Build / Value perspectiveThe printer feels well constructed for its size and intended use. At this price point, it offers reasonable value for small businesses that want a reliable, ink-free label printer with both USB and Bluetooth connectivity, assuming it holds up well over time.Final verdict (TL;DR)A compact and practical thermal label printer that delivers clear results and works smoothly across devices. A good fit for small businesses and home offices, with long-term durability still to be confirmed through extended use.

Picked this up as I’ll be needing a small thermals’ printer for labels and suchIt’s the perfect size but the app is less than robust, which concerns me a bit due to lack of options.Maybe it needs to be accessed via laptop, but I saw no options for printing shipping labels, and the options were very basic. The good?Th printer is compact enough that you can literally toss it in a large tote or backpack to bring with you. It’s not very heavy and it can be easily stored in a desk drawer or on the desk itself without being in the wayWould recommend if you’re in need of a printer, but be aware the app light not be robust enough for your needs. Try with a laptop!

I ordered this specifically for label printing (which really seems to be its main purpose). I have a large stack of 4×6 shipping labels I got to make shipping things easier. I thought I would be able to use my other thermal printer with these, but that was not the case so that’s why this one was ordered.I ship things out quite frequently. I make my own products, and I also resell a lot of baby/toddler items that my child no longer needs or fits in. If you sell a lot of items, this printer is also quite fast. So, if you are printing out multiple labels at one time it can get the job done quickly. This definitely makes my job a little more convenient. I don’t need to use a conventional printer, and tape the shipping label on. I don’t need to write anything out by hand.I also don’t need to worry about ink consumption, as this is a thermal printer and no ink is used. This printer is compatible with my android phone. There is an app if you are using your phone. Making it convenient for use. I have not tried it yet with my computer, but it seems as though it would be compatible as well. I will update if I decide to use it with my computer in the future to let you know how the process goes.Sometimes with these thermal printers they don’t print well and you might not get a nice even print. With this printer that is not the case. It prints dark, and you can easily read the print (or your phone can for a scan). The print quality is very nice, and not pixelated. As it is a thermal printer, and there is no actual ink, it obviously only prints out in black. You do need a thermal paper to use for this. I have tried this out with white thermal printing labels. I also have colorful thermal paper, and it worked well with that too.

This thermal printer is an excellent choice for small business owners or occasional shippers who have limited desk space or need a portable solution. It is particularly useful for those who prefer printing directly from a smartphone via Bluetooth. The Experience:Setup/First Impressions: Getting started was straightforward. The device is notably compact, which makes it very easy to find a spot for it on a crowded desk or even to pack away in a bag for travel. It doesn’t have the bulky footprint of traditional desktop label printers.Performance: The standout feature here is the Bluetooth connectivity. It makes the printer significantly more “handy” than USB-only models, as you aren’t tethered to a computer. Being able to print standard 4×6 shipping labels wirelessly adds a layer of convenience for quick shipping tasks. The operation is user-friendly and reliable for standard shipping needs.Design: The small form factor is a major plus. It is easy to store in a drawer when not in use, which is great for home offices that don’t want industrial-looking equipment sitting out 24/7.Pros:- Bluetooth connectivity allows for wireless printing from mobile devices.- Very compact and lightweight; easy to travel with.- Simple to operate and user-friendly.- Easy to store away when not in use.Cons:- Mobile printing requires the use of the manufacturer’s specific app (RT Elabel).Verdict:A solid, space-saving option that delivers on the promise of portability and wireless convenience. Recommended for anyone needing a flexible shipping setup.
