It works, but overpriced!
I want to start by saying that I tested this once it was setup and it worked correctly. Having said that, setting it up was a pain. I have had the Smart Life app for years (this is what they tell you to use). It took 5 attempts to get this setup in the app and it takes forever before it ‘fails’. Once I got it setup, it was fine.The build is very poor. It’s a cheap piece of plastic that feels like a toy. Opening it up to put in the battery is not an easy task and closing it is even harder. It’s basically two half pieces that twist together and the alarm speaker is attached to one of these pieces with some very thin wires. I can see this part breaking easily when opening it up.So in conclusion – it does work as expected with both a local alarm as well as a notification on my phone. But I have seen many of these devices for much less with a much higher quality build. I would probably save my money next time with another unit at half the price.

I ordered this item to hopefully be able to set on the floor of the washroom but could not get it to do anything. This device was not bluetooth capable after installing batteries (not included) & could not connect to it. Must be part of a larger system.
