What impressed me most1. Print speed and qualityThis printer is fast: the first copies come out almost instantly, and it maintains a very high level of sharpness even with small text. Documents look professional, with well-defined colors (when printing in color), and excellent contrast in black and white.2. Hassle-free wireless connectivityI like that the Wi-Fi setup was simple: I connected it to the router, downloaded the HP app, and was printing from my laptop, phone, and even my tablet. Good printer bad phone software….
I like this printer because it was easy to setup and lets me print from my phone, but I don’t like that occasionally the phone printing gets stuck, and I don’t know why. I suspect it is something with the HP software and the item I am printing because it works on other items. Oh, when it does get stuck, I sometimes have to cancel the job on the printer, and I always have to print it from the computer which works fine. Basically, good printer bad phone software.

Avoid this printer – huge wifi connection problems!
The printer itself functions fine – the problem is that the display pad goes to sleep and the printer loses wifi connectivity. The ONLY way to get it to re-establish wifi connectivity is by using the display pad – you can’t do it on your desktop. And the display pad is impossible, and I mean impossible, to get to come back on. Restart the printer, unplug and restart, unplug and let it sit, plug in and restart, nothing works. I’ve spent hours on it – the display pad on it has been asleep for weeks now, it’s gotten worse with time, and I only purchased the printer 2 years ago. There is an option in the HP printer desktop software to set the sleep time, but it maxes out at 1 hour. Don’t print anything for, say, a week, and you can forget getting the display pad to come back on unless its by sheer luck. My workaround is to send a job to the printer, get the “printer is offline” message on the desktop, then I restart the printer, it prints my document, then it loses connectivity again shorly thereafter. Very frustrating!!!

Cadillac – I just bought this as my last hp was disconnecting – it was older so I chose this one. Easy – super easy to set up.quick. The instructions were easy and the shipping box was secure great packing! Fast delivery. The only negative is I think it’s louder than the last. It could be a little softer.

After one day of use, Error code: dd000f58 which bricks the printer. If you google this, it is a common problem which has no remedy. Absolute Garbage.
