Easy to use
I use these to make simple door alarms in my home assistant so I can tell when certain doors are open. After buying a separate does it be adapter these things connected super easy and I’ve been using them for about a month now with no problems

Not good for detecting changes in Door/Window position below 4-6″
I had to return these as they sensors are overly sensitive to the point where they are unusable. In order for the sensor to give usable position information, the magnet would need to be mounted about 6 inches away from the reader which is impractical for this type of sensor. I typically don’t write reviews; however all of the other reviews available at the time didn’t appear to give a good perspective for use in an elaborate smart home system and felt the need to provide a review from someone with that perspective

Very good but not perfect
Have only had this for a few weeks but it is working great and as expected. The size is a bit bigger than i expected and the magnet detection range is a couple of inches. Both pieces did not have to be directly next to each other which was great for the area i needed to place it. However, if the door is mostly closed but not actually latched, the device reports it as closed because of its lack of sensitivity.

Very helpful
This door sensor really exceeded my expectations. Its size is much smaller than I imagined, and the white appearance is very attractive. It blends in perfectly when installed on the door and goes well with the overall decoration style of the house. The installation process is also very simple and convenient. Just peel off the backing adhesive and stick it on the corresponding position on the door frame and the door, and it will be firmly fixed. The entire process takes less than a minute and doesn’t require any tools, which is particularly friendly for someone like me with average hand skills. What surprised me even more was its sensitivity. Even if the door is just slightly pushed open by a small gap, the mobile app will immediately receive a reminder. The response speed is extremely fast. This way, I can know when my child leaves the room at night. The connection is also very smooth.

Made my place feel smarter
I picked these up to add a bit more awareness around doors plus windows, especially when I am not always paying attention, setup took a few minutes once I paired them with my hub. Sticking them on was simple, no tools needed, they are small enough that they do not stand out which I liked. After getting everything connected I started getting alerts right away when a door opened, which was useful even just around the house since I could tell what was going on without checking manually. I also tried setting up a basic automation so lights turn on when the door opens at night, that worked smoothly once it was configured. Over time it became something I rely on without thinking about it much, especially for keeping track of things in the background. Great value for money.

Door & Window Security Sensors
My first-floor side window faces the backyard, and I’ve always worried about someone getting in at night. After installing these door and window sensors, I feel much more secure. Installation was simple—just use the included screws to mount them on the frame and sash, no complex wiring or electrician needed. I did it myself in ten minutes. When the window is closed, the sensors stay quiet, but if it’s opened even a little, my phone gets an alert immediately. One night, the wind blew the window open a crack, and I got a notification right away, so I got up to close it. The sensors are small and discreet, barely noticeable on the window frame, so they don’t ruin the home’s decor. The batteries last a long time too; I haven’t replaced them in almost six months. Now, before I leave the house, I just check that all doors and windows are closed and the sensors are active, and I can leave with peace of mind, no more double-checking or worrying. It’s like a quiet little guard at the doors and windows, adding an extra layer of security to the home.
