Is this charging pad compatible with Android phones?
Not compatible with Android. The charging pad is designed for devices with magnetic wireless charging, available only in iPhone 12 and later models. For optimal Qi2 15W charging, the device must be an iPhone 13 or newer, running on iOS 17.2 or later.
Can a phone case affect wireless charging?
For the best wireless charging experience, we recommend using Apple’s official magnetic phone cases. You should avoid cases thicker than 2.5 mm and non-magnetic cases, as they may affect charging efficiency.
Why doesn’t my iPhone show the charging circle when using magnetic charging?
Firstly, verify if your iPhone is a model from the 13/14/15 series, as only these models support magnetic charging. Next, ensure that your phone’s operating system is updated to iOS 17.2, as this is necessary for the feature to function properly.

Very good charger
Another good Anker product. Charges at an even pace. While this is not a fast charger, it is faster than the previous wildest charger I was using. The charger, however, does get very warm when it is charging. When the phone reaches 100%, it does turn off and get cool to the touch.

A nice at home or travel wireless charger
Works as designed. Strong magnets. It does get hot, but dangerous enough for hands or other surfaces. It’s not fast charging, so it will take some time to fully charge to 100%.

Anker MagSafe charger
This is my first MagSafe charger for my iPhone. It’s very convenient. I like how it works compared to plugging the lightning cable in. The only time the phone got hot enough to quit charging from being too hot was in my car through the sun through the windshield. The anchor seems to heat it up quicker and stop charging till the phone cools off. I don’t know if that’s normal for MagSafe chargers or not but it’s my experience. I probably won’t get one for my car due to the heat issues.

This has a strong magnet, so things are slipping off if bumped.It is USB C.I also have a USB C charger and they charged my iPhone quickly.I purchased adapters for the USB A ports I have.USB A charges a little slower, but not a big deal and not a product issue…technology.It’s better than USB A to USB A charging.Everything is changing to USB C, so I am not concerned about the future.All in all, a very solid product that fulfills it’s intention.

It Does Charge But Gets Super Hot
I used this to wirelessly charge my Motorola Razr that I paired with a magnetic ring on the outside of my phones’ case (see first pic). This charger is just like every other wireless charging pad but with magnets to keep the charger and phone/device from sliding/separating easily. If your phone accepts wireless charging, you should have no issues charging with this device. I have charged many non magnetic phones this way with no issues.Understand that charging speed is dependent on the lowest rated charge rate from either the phone, charger, or power adapter/charging brick. If the charging speed of the charger is 15W max but the wireless charging rate of the phone is 5W, then the phone will only charge with a speed of up to 5W max as well. So if your phone charges slow, it probably has nothing to do with the charger but your phones’ wireless charging rate.I have bought and used other Anker charging pads (and loved them) which is why I first bought this one when I was looking for a magnetic version.The Anker Magnetic version does charge my phone just fine but man does it get hot (the back of the charger). As others have stated, it gets uncomfortable to even hold it when charging (which defeats the purpose of getting a magnetic charger). I might as well charge the phone on one of my other non-magnetic charging pads (that doesn’t get hot) and leave the phone there until I need to use it again (see second pic). The heat might not be hurting the phone or charger but doesn’t feel right to heat cycle it like that everyday all day. They should have added a fan to dissipate the heat.I actually found one that does just that (use a fan) from INIU brand and love that one.I have since moved this charger from my bedroom to use in my car instead. I usually have my AC on full blast which helps some with the heat buildup from this charger, plus the magnetic feature makes connecting and disconnecting the phone to the charger a breeze (see last pic).However, I was highly disappointed with this charger, considering that I have had nothing but positive experiences with the Anker brand.Would not buy another one of these again.

Hay reseñas que indican el valor. En mi caso calienta el iPhone 15 pro Max pero nada grave.Carga bastante bien, no se va a despegar accidentalmente (el imán es muy potente) se ve muy robusto y con muy buena calidad en materiales y acabados. El cable mide y lo recomendaría mucho si eres de los que lo necesitas.Lo quiero para cuando salgo de viaje unos días.De los que tiene Amazon, si bien no es barato, parece que es de más alta calidad.
