Once set up configure the sensor settings to your liking.
Great camera! This was the first time we ever invested in a security camera and we are very pleased with the performance. I was a little unsure because of the bargain we got through Black Friday sale, but they have performed very very well. We had to go out of town for a week and I set these up very last minute before we left. Let’s just say being in a totally different state in the ozarks I was able to watch my house from many miles away. I was able to adjust the settings to where it would sense movement from vehicles and persons and pets. It kept notifying me every time they went off. It is a little bit of a learning curve, but once you get the settings, just right, you will be pleased with it. Another part that I was unsure of was the charging system, but after being away for a week and having the solar panel hooked up, it worked out perfect. They charged even on a cloudy day and through the night. They only utilized about 10 to 12%. By the early afternoon they were already charged up to 100%. I would recommend these cameras to anybody looking for an easy security system set up. Even the Wi-Fi from inside the house from where I set the cameras still allowed the cameras to get good signal. Very pleased again with this product and will be purchasing some more to put on the other corners of my property.

ANRAN Solar Camera Review
I recently installed the ANRAN solar-powered security camera, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by its performance given the price point. For a budget-friendly option, the build quality feels solid, and the camera delivers clear footage both day and night.Installation was refreshingly simple. The wireless setup and integrated solar panel meant I didn’t have to worry about running power cables or drilling near outlets. As long as you find a spot with decent sunlight, mounting and connecting to Wi-Fi is quick and intuitive.Overall, it’s a great value for anyone looking for reliable outdoor surveillance without the hassle of complicated wiring or monthly fees. Definitely worth considering if you want a clean, self-sufficient setup.

A solid outdoor security camera with decent customer service!
ANRAN is a decent company with good customer service! They provided me a replacement after my solar security outdoor camera wasn’t operating optimally after 4 months or so. This camera is moderately priced and works well. It could improve for gloomy weather conditions, but for Southern California- it largely holds up and gets the job done. Make sure your settings are minimal to be optimal. So, in other words- it’s not the best outdoor camera out there, but it isn’t the worst. It’s solid. Has great picture quality, recognizes animals, does well in low light and certainly computes motion detection. The app is above average too. If they could fix their battery issue to give a longer and more consistent charge, I’d give it a full 5 star rating. That said, I overall recommend!

What a camera !!
This camera amazes me. It fit every requirement I needed. My work van now I don’t worry about. I didn’t need to run anything to be able to watch it. It was so easy to set up. The battery lasts all night. The motion detector pops a light on lights up the area. The night vision works perfect. And the price was right. I can’t complain at all. Thank you thank you so much.

Daylight Savings Bug Stops SD card access
BEWARE!! DAYLIGHT SAVINGS BUGI’ve had 7 of these cameras running for 5 months. Worked around some issues with their tech support, and for the past 5 months, they work very well. This past Sunday, between 1 AM and 4 AM, I can no longer access the video stored on the SD card. The events before 1 AM Sunday are still available and work. The camera trips, and saves events after Sunday early morning, but you cannot play them through the Anran software off the SD card. Live view works. The events are being stored, but the camera can’t access the SD card even. 18 hours of Gemini AI troubleshooting, resetting the cameras, changing the phone time to “trick” the camera into thinking it isn’t Daylight Savings, reformatting the SD cards, no joy. Anran “kicked me up to Tier 2” technical support where i have been ghosted. These cameras are now next to useless without the ability to access motion detection events.

Pros and cons.
Once we figured out how to set it up we liked it. Video quality was good and triggers as needed. However, not only do you need to buy an SD card, you have to subscribe to a plan to be able to see all the videos. Not a fan of the extra costs. We live in FL and have both cameras in the same spot in direct sun (pointed in different angles) yet after 3 weeks the battery died. This requires you to take the camera down and manually charge it for 8+ hours. Seriously inconvenient. I did contact customer service and they responded within 24 hours confirming this is normal. I’m not a fan of this. And the app is not easy to use either. You have to view each camera footage separately. With my other cameras they are synced up so everything plays in order. It has pros and cons. I’m tempted to return them.

Don’t be fooled by the cheap price, these cameras are amazing!
Outstanding quality for the price. Of course I was skeptical with the 2 pack of cameras costing less than most single cameras do, but I have been pleasantly surprised. Setup was a breeze; and the instructions were actually helpful (if you’ve ever bought camera systems, you know some don’t even come with them). Love the floodlight feature on the ones I bought, it lights up my back yard excellently. Connects to my wifi easily and stays connected even with my modem on the other side of the house. The accompanying app is very functional and a breeze to use as well. Overall a great buy. Holds a charge insanely well even when not hooked to the solar panel!

Great Picture and quality! More importantly customer service is fantastic! I’ve had a few small issues, (losing connection for example) and the Customer Service Team always responds quickly and provides the necessary information to fix issue. Very Pleased and highly recommend!
