As a 27 year old woman I was able to install this with no help! The strike box I was not able to get in but i just installed it without the strike box and it works just fine ! I can’t seem to get the date entered which i dont know why you’d have to set up the date. I was able to add my fingerprint and set a passcode. It’d be nice if there was an app for it. And it would also be nice if it locked from both sides and not just one side

Easy to setup and works great. I purchased another brand a few years ago and this one is by far superior. The setup was flawless and reader works amazing. The others i have its hit or miss if they work the first time but this one hasn’t failed the first read yet. Feels sturdy and the lock works great. Only issue i had was the plates where squared instead of round like the common door lock plates so i hade to notch out the door and door frame for the new plates. I feel better knowing the door is securely locked without me having to worry about locking it every time i leave. All i have to do is close the door. You can also program 100 fobs 100 prints and 100 codes so 300 entry points is insane. The price was half of what i paid for the other brand and its worth every penny. Would highly recommend. Had to get another one!

Great for office and keeping kiddos out!
This was a little tricky to set up at first, but that was 100% user error! We put this on our office/ tanning room to make sure our kids don’t mess with the tanning bed and it works like a charm. Love the finger print scanner.

Was defective. Would not lock even after manually locking using the key. Would not recommend this item.

Small issue, but I’m keeping it
I have been using this for about 3 months now. It has issues reading your fingerprints if your hands are damp (as anything touchscreen-like tends to be). I had one incident where the door wouldn’t open at all… It did beep at me weird when this occurred. So grateful for multiple ways to unlock the door when this occurred. I went looking for the key, as I put it somewhere where I could find it easily (ha, if my brain wasn’t mush). Turns out the weird key on the key ring around my neck was the answer to my wishes but stupid me forgot that. I found the RFID tag I hid and the door opened right up. (The touchpad wasn’t working as well as the fingerprint id.) Interestingly enough, once I got the door open I was able to test the lock and it worked without me having to reprogram or reset anything. It’s been about 8 weeks since then and no further issues. I suspect extreme cold in that back room and my fingers was the culprit. I didn’t bother using my phone to open the door… I need to remember that fun tion exists. I’m satisfied it was a weird fluke and am keeping the door knob. Let’s me keep items in that room secure, especially when I have visitors. I have peace of mind that people aren’t snooping where they don’t belong. Not sure if I would use it for an exterior door if it gets finicky in the cold. It rains too much around here in the Seattle outskirts to be able to unlock with damp hands. Best for locking an interior door I think.

Very nice handle
Love it!! Easy install, detailed instructions, powered by a great app with lots of options. It can also be used without the app. It’s well built, it could definitely handle a door that has high traffic going through it all day long.
