I like this product a lot. I wouldn’t make a smart home without it.
nice color, works well, I have all smart home stuff so it integrated no problem and the bluetooth is a bonus. Clear sound and voice options. Easy to setup and use, and great control hub for the money. I also really like the AI. It’s nice that I can give multiple commands at once or set multiple alarms without having to do each one individually. Really easy and versatile to use.

Love this speaker. I do also have the issue with it speaking in an Asian language but it’s easy to switch. My daughter who is 7 loves it also. She likes being able to just play music on a whim. Sound quality is great. Good warm sounding bass. It actually sounds better than I thought it would.

False advertising
It doesn’t allow you to give 0 stars or it would have been 0 stars. Took over a week to arrive and then the language was in Chinese, including the guide. There was a QR code it said to scan (the only thing in the box that was specifically in English ). But when I scanned it I was given the message that the QR code was invalid. Apparently the Nest mini speaker was a “locked” in Chinese and couldn’t be reset. The whole thing is very suspicious. No where in the description does it state this. They falsely claimed it can be changed.They are offering to refund my money when they get it back and emailed a UPS paid mailing label. This process was easy and they responded quickly. So 1 star for service.I would rather have a working speaker though

Fixed my “silent doorbell” problem — cheap, effective chime for Nest Doorbell
I have a big Google Home/Nest setup for home security (cameras + video doorbell). Recently my doorbell stopped ringing through my existing speaker setup and I stopped getting in-home announcements. Infuriating. I spent money on a technician who burned two hours diagnosing it, only to land on a simple fix: add a Google Nest Mini (2nd gen) and use it as the dedicated doorbell chime/announcement speaker.That solution worked perfectly. The Nest Mini was easy to set up, connects cleanly with the rest of my Nest ecosystem, and now I reliably get doorbell announcements/chimes again—without replacing my cameras or ripping out my whole system.I’m still annoyed about the compatibility/support changes that caused the issue in the first place, but I’m relieved there’s an inexpensive workaround that restores the core functionality fast.If your Nest doorbell suddenly feels “quiet” inside the house, save yourself the troubleshooting spiral: grab a Nest Mini and set it up as your doorbell announcement/chime. It solved it immediately for me.

We love this Google appliance. So convenient to just say “Hey Google” and then ask for a certain type of music or today’s weather or how to convert measurements, etc. We have it in our kitchen and it provides an excellent hands-free way to get stuff done.
