What does “Numlock” and “clear” mean?
The Numlock key is treated differently on macOS than on Windows. Typically, the Numlock key does not function as a switch between the numeric keypad and the function keys on macOS, but is treated as a “clear” key.
How to use the multimedia keys or F1–F12 function keys?
1. On Windows systems, the F1–F12 keys default to standard function key commands.
2. On Mac systems, the F1–F12 keys default to multimedia controls.
You can press Fn + Esc (FN Lock) to switch between function key mode and multimedia key mode.
How long does it take for the keyboard backlight to turn off when idle?
The keyboard backlight will automatically turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. Press any key to turn it back on.

Trim, Great Design, Excellent feedback
I almost sent this back because the back-lighting turns off after 3 minutes. Otherwise I love this keyboard. I like the haptic feedback and I love having the illumination be in color. It’s very grating to have white light leaking around the key, and they all do that. But with this one, you can choose your color. Green works for me.I did send my complaint about the 3 minutes auto-dim to the company. They were great. Very responsive and helpful. Offered suggestions, none of which, sadly, applied to my setup. I suggested that the auto-dim time-out should be user-configurable. So I hope to see that in future software releases. I like everything about it, except for that small issue. And I like it so much, that I decided to live with that slight imperfection.

Good keyboard, battery life is shorter than expected
I have been using this keyboard for 5 days. The size, feel, and durability are all good.Today, it began disconnecting without warning. When I plugged it in, it was at 12% battery.That seems like a short charge time for a keyboard.

Absolutely the keyboard I was looking for! Meets all my requirements. Wish, the back lighting on the keys stayed on for a bit longer though. But other than that the keys feel fantastic and the super slim profile is fabulous.

BK10 vs BK10 Pro
I have the previous version of this keyboard (BK10 without backlight), but decided to take a chance on the new version (BK10 Pro with backlighting). I really wanted this to work, but after a few days with the Pro version, I’m back to using the old non-backlight keyboard.BK10 Pro advantages:* The USB C charging port is a plus, fewer cables to carry around.* The backlit keys are good.* The upgraded Bluetooth connection seems a bit more stable. Especially when first connecting to a device.BK 10 Pro issues:* As noted by other reviewers, long term use with back lights on reduces battery life significantly. Turning off the backlights for daily use would be fine, but without the backlight, the key labels are difficult to read (gray on black, very little contrast). The old keyboard has high contrast white lettering on black keys, very easy to see.* The Pro version replaced the dedicated calculator button (top right key) with a screen shot button. I use the calculator button frequently, it’s just convenient. The screen shot button…not so much for me. Your mileage may vary.* The real deal breaker for me is the how the keyboard works on my Pixel 9a phone. I’ve been using the desktop feature in Android 16 with an external travel monitor and Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The old BK10 works perfectly. But for reasons I cannot figure out, the new BK10 Pro keyboard, when connected to my phone running in desktop mode, causes the on screen keyboard to appear every time I select a text input field. To be fair, it might be an issue with the Pixel and/or Android 16, but regardless, the old BK10 keyboard doesn’t have that problem. I’ve confirmed this with multiple times switching between the two keyboards.So I can definitely recommend the BK10 keyboard, but the new BK10 Pro has too many issues for me.

Keyboard is great. Nice size and silent keys. I really wish it had an option to keep it wired just so the backlight didn’t turn off so quickly. Besides that, so far, very nice purchase.

The only thing that bothers me is the short 3 day battery life. Otherwise, this is a quality gem.
This keyboard is sleek, stylish, and very modern. It’s low to the desk so I don’t even need to use a wrist pad. The keys offer precision tactile feel and is a lot quieter than my other keyboards. The press in is short making it easy to type out for long hours. I did need to get used to it a bit. I’m used to the arrow keys having space in between the 10 key and the main letters. This keyboard allows me to sync via Bluetooth up to 3 devices. At the simple press of a button, I can switch between devices. This can include tablets and smartphones, very convenient. There are RGB color backlit keys. Lots of colors and shades to choose from, my favorite is the purple. It is single color at a time, so no rainbow effect or dual colors at the same time. It uses the now standard USB-C for recharging. I can leave it plugged in or unplugged since it has a built-in battery. The battery seems to need a recharge usually every 3 days or so. According to the battery info on the PC. This can be misleading, I’m not sure how accurate the battery readout on the PC is vs what juice is actually left on the device. The keyboard frame and housing have a matte finish. As I said earlier, this is extremely thin and still offers the 10-key. When my wife goes to the office, which she does maybe 2 days out of the week, she steals my keyboard. It fits into her laptop bag with no issues.
