Easy to install, fast fingerprint, and very reliable
I’ve been using this keyless entry door lock for a little while now and I’m honestly impressed. The installation was straightforward and didn’t take long, even without being super handy. The instructions were clear, and everything lined up well with my existing door.The fingerprint recognition works fast and has been very reliable so far. It unlocks almost instantly, which makes it really convenient when your hands are full. I also like having multiple ways to unlock it (app, code, key), which adds a nice layer of flexibility.The app setup was simple, and I like being able to control and monitor access. It’s been useful for letting family members in without needing to make extra keys.Build quality feels solid and secure, and it looks clean on the door—not bulky or cheap like some others I’ve seen.Overall, this has been a great upgrade for my home. If you’re looking for a smart lock that’s easy to install, reliable, and has multiple access options, this is definitely worth considering.

Works well after initial hiccup.
I got this smart lock set to replace a different smart lock that had the motor go bad on it. I initially had issues installing this lock. My door opens from the right and when I finished installing the lock, locking the deadbolt would unlock and unlocking would actually lock the deadbolt. There is a switch in the back that has L/R on it. Thinking this meant left and right opening direction, I tried to set it to R without any success.Truth be told, I was getting frustrated after fiddling around with the lock for over an hour. After a quick message to the seller, which prompted a rapid response and easy solution, I finally got the lock to operate in the right direction. Thanks to the seller for the prompt response in answering my questions.The lock works very well. The fingerprint reader is super quick and takes less than a second 10 out of 10 times without any failures. Registering fingerprints, keycards and passcodes are done quick and easy within the app. Zero complaints there.For those getting this lock in the future, make sure you fully install the lock onto your door before putting the batteries in. The lock has a self detection feature that automatically detects which direction the door opens from by quickly running the motor on first start and detecting resistance.If you put the batteries in before the lock is fully installed, it will detect the door opens from the left and would require a reset by pressing the button on the PCB in the back of the interior unit. You will get a prompt asking for initialization passcode, which is “0000” then tap unlock on the number pad on the exterior side of the lock.

sensitivity is okay, it was a harder install than most I have used. But it looks really nice! We did have to drill a hole in bottom of handle because it would not stay in our door.

Not functioning like it should
I recently purchased and installed the POWIFY Keyless Entry Door. The lock powers on and I was able to program a code successfully. However, the deadbolt does not function correctly: when I enter the code, the bolt extends and retracts several times, then either gets stuck in the open or closed position.I have already:• Removed and reinstalled the lock multiple times, checking that the bolt and strike plate are aligned.• Verified that the bolt moves freely when operated by hand.• Replaced the batteries with a fresh set.• Tested with the door open to eliminate alignment issues.• Reviewed and followed the installation instructions carefully.Despite this, the problem persists and makes the lock unreliable for everyday use.Can you please advise if there is a calibration or reset procedure specific to this model, or if the unit may be defective and needs replacement?

Looks really nice, but when I unlock it, it unlocks and locks over and over.
The door handle works perfectly and the whole thing looks very clean, sleek and modern. The fingerprint recognition works very well and so do the codes. The only issue I have is everytime we use the fingerprint or codes to unlock it keeps unlocking and then locking over and over again, and we have to push the door right at the perfect time to open it or else when it finishes its sequence of lock and unlock it just locks back. I’m unsure if this is caused because of something I have done wrong in the app or if its an issue with the app. I know the lock is correctly in place from being able to press the lock from the outside when I leave and it locks it. I’m only giving it 3 stars because of this problem. It’s made it impossible for my children or my 72 year old dad to use. so its not really been as useful as I had hoped.

Gorgeous and functional
This lock set was easy to install. It’s very functional on many levels. We enjoy the key fob, and we made a code for my son to use. This is much nicer than just having a dead bolt. It also tells you when it’s locked or unlocked, which is a cool feature.

Defective
This product looks nice but from day one we had issues with trying to press a key and the system would get confused thinking we’d press another one, it’s very frustrating as it’s even locked on us due to this. Also, the batteries constantly run out and every single time we lock the door we get a loud voice saying “system failed” even though it did lock correctly. All in all we’re going to replace this after a few months as it’s become too much of a nuisance especially getting locked out of a supposedly keyless entry.
