Product description

Specifications:
Material: Flame-retardant ABS + PC + Metal
Power Source: 100-120V/AC
Power Frequency: 50/60Hz
Rated Load: <100W Max.
Mounting Type: Ceiling Mount/Wall Mount
Compatible Devices: Lights,Lamps
Time-Delay: Min.5sec±2sec
Max. 8min±2min (adjustable)
Ambient Light: 2-2000LUX(adjustable)
Installation Height: 1.8m-2.5m
Working Temperature: -10℃~ +40℃
Detection Distance: 8M max (the detection distance will be 8m(max) only in the state with best installation angle and best ambient temperature, and it works well when the ambient temperature is 24℃,The higher the temperature is or the lower the temperature is, the lower the sensing sensitivity will be)
Installation:
Simple plug the motion sensor outlet into the ceiling outlet, and plug your lights/lamps into this outlet. No tools or wiring needed.

Time Button:
Time Button adjustment can adjust the delay time, your light will turn on automatically in the dark and dusk when detecting motion, and will turn off automatically after your setting time (5sec±8min)without any detecting motion. For example: if you adjust the time button to the position(“—”),it means that the delay time is only 5sec±2sec,so your light will turn off automatically after 5sec±2sec without any detecting motion,“—”means the minimum time,and “+”means maximum time, and the minimum time is 5sec±2sec,the maximum time is 8min±2min;
Sens Button:
Sens Button adjustment can set the sensitivity, and it doesn’t need to adjust generally, but if your bulb would be always on because of the high sensitivity, you should adjust the Sens Button to the “—” position;
Lux Button:
Lux Button adjustment can adjust the light to work all day or only at night, Turn LUX knob to SUN position, it will work in daylight and at night, Turn LUX knob to Moon position,it will only work at night.
Warnings:
Designed for indoor use only.
This motion sensor socket is designed for ceiling mounting or wall mounting.
The sensor ball must face downward, directly toward the desired detection area with proper distance and angle.
It is compatible exclusively with plug-in light fixtures and must not be used with other plug-in devices.Of course, you can also use the plug-to-E26/E27 adapter to install your E26/E27 bulbs.

It’s great for automatically turning electricity on and off!
They work 90% of the time. Every once in a while, I have to unplug it and replug it to get it to work, nothing problematic. This one is plugged into a extension cord into a light in a dark corner. It lights up the corner, wonderfully when we are there and turns off shortly there after, we like it.Would recommend for many situations.

Works well for my application
I have a couple of fluorescent lights that plug into the ceiling of my basement workshop. They have pull chains. This required feeling in the dark to turn them on, and finding my way to the door after turning them off. This solution was much easier than adding a light switch, and makes it impossible to accidently leave the lights on.

Nice solution, not easy to find
Works OK with options for choosing how the sensor reacts and the light stays on. Motion detection is a little delayed, almost having to walk directly underneath for the lights to come on.It would have been nice to be able to plug in two lights instead of just one. Adding a multi receptacle adapter allowed that, but that added more bulk to the setup.

Turns randomly on and off no matter what actually happens
This thing turns on at random times, and often when I am walking by it turns off. So it works more like a random number generator than an actual motion detector. To prove my point, I have covered the motion sensor and I faced it away, so that there is no way it could detect any sort of motion. The light still kept turning on. Then, I uncovered it switched to 4 second timeout and pointed it at me, and I constantly waved my hand in front of it. It kept turning off. So literally, it turns on when nothing happens, and when I am moving in front of it, turns off. Pointless product, just like a few others I testes here on Amazon. They probably use the same underlying useless technology.

Great product
Fantastic product. Works well.

Decent if it works.
One of the two sensor plugs worked flawlessly; however, the second one would not turn off no matter how many setting variations were attempted. Furthermore, the plug in bulb socket this comes with gets extraordinarily hot when used. Seems like a fire risk.

Really nice
These are great. I have them in my bathroom and by my front door. There are 3 different setting you manually set on the back and they fine tune when the thing turns them on. When I walk into my bathroom at night my LEDs come on right away and it’s a nice vibe thanks to these.

Okay sensor
It works intermittently. It always turn on when movement is detected but sometimes is on for no reason

Works exactly as intended – if you adjust the settings properly and orient the sensor correctly. For night time operation set the lux to about half way between the sun and moon limits. The motion sensor will trigger only when the solar cell detects the ambient lux reaches the level you set (needs to be dim but not too dim). If you set the lux all the way to the moon setting the motion sensor won’t trigger because the slightest imperceptible glimmer of light is too bright. On the full sun setting the solar cell let’s the motion sensor work all day and night

Exactly what was ordered

First one died during casual use on day one. It would click when motion was tracked, but no power would go to the light anymore.

I was hoping to like this plug, but sadly, one of them stopped working during testing and even gave off a burning smell. This definitely makes me question the product’s quality and durability. The other plug is still functioning fine, and here’s what I’ve observed about it.You can rotate the plug itself 330 degrees left and right, and the sensor head adjusts 165 degrees in both directions, which makes it easy to point exactly where you need it. It comes with an adapter that lets you plug it into an E26/E27 socket, so you can control a light bulb’s on/off automatically. You can either plug it directly into a socket or mount it on an extension bar, which is convenient for different setups. There are three main settings to customize:1. Delay Time: This controls how long the light stays on after no motion is detected. It ranges from about 7 seconds (minimum) up to 10 minutes (maximum).2. Sensitivity: You can adjust how sensitive the sensor is to motion. The “-” setting makes it less sensitive, while “+” increases sensitivity.3. Light Sensor Mode: There are two options here. One keeps the plug working all day regardless of light levels (marked with a sun symbol), and the other only activates the plug at night or when there isn’t enough light (marked with a moon symbol).A few things to keep in mind:- This device is for indoor use only, not outdoors.- The sensor needs to face the detection area properly, with an effective range of about 8 feet.- This plug is intended for use with light fixtures only, as it supports a maximum of 100W. Using it with other devices that may exceed 100W could cause damage to the plug.- If you use the nighttime mode, make sure to increase sensitivity for it to work well.

This is a simple relay operated outlet with a PIR motion sensor acting as the controller to toggle the outlet on or off. The sensor is reasonably sensitive and has a good array of adjustments to configure the timeout before the outlet is switched back off, etc.It works well for operating floor lamps and similar in a hallway as you walk past, and may be a good choice for those looking for a simple way to turn a standard lamp “smart” or motion sensitive without having to use wifi plugs or other mobile app/internet dependent smart home sensors.Sadly the unit has no safety certification, from UL or otherwise. This is a real bummer especially for a device like this that’s designed to be left plugged in to AC continuously and left operating unattended. I’d stick to using only low-power loads like lamps with low-wattage LED bulbs installed. Definitely don’t use it to control things like space heaters.
