Is the XK04 Too Small for Comfortable Typing?
XK04 is designed for ultimate portability with phones and tablets, featuring a compact layout. For extended typing or full-size keys, we recommend our XK01 model with standard 16.5mm keycaps and number pad.
How to Connect and Switch Between Devices?
1. Unfold and Turn on the power switch.
2. Choose Bluetooth Channel: Press Fn+Q/W/E
3. Enter Pairing Mode: Long press Fn + Q/W/E
4. Connect via your device’s Bluetooth menu to “ProtoArc XK04”
Simply short press Fn + Q, W, or E to switch devices.
How Do I Know When My Keyboard Is Fully Charged?
A full charge typically takes about 2 hours.
The charging indicator is often red while charging and will switch to a solid green light once the battery is completely full.

Excellent, highly portable setup for mobile work
The ProtoArc XK04 has been a great addition for getting work done when I’m away from my desk. It’s thin enough to toss in a bag for a coffee shop session before a meeting, and the setup is fast enough that it doesn’t feel like a chore to pull out.I also use it at home to knock out a bit of work on my phone or tablet while watching TV in the evening. It isn’t as rigid as a full-size desktop keyboard, but for the size, it’s surprisingly comfortable to type on and even works fine for gaming.The best feature is that it stores three Bluetooth profiles. Being able to toggle between a phone and tablet instantly without re-pairing is a huge time-saver. If you need a compact, reliable keyboard for travel or casual use, this one is hard to beat.

Super compact and great connection sensitivity!
Bought this to pair with my tablet to make a more compact and travel-friendly work station!I love this compact keyboard! This connected easily via Bluetooth and honestly is such an improved sensitivity vs the cheaper case with keyboard options. It folds to about a hard-drive size and is super lightweight, making it extremely travel-friendly and easy to slip into any purse.Battery lasts really long. I’ve been using it for weeks on and off, and I still haven’t needed to charge the keyboard.Keyboard feels well-built and doesn’t feel like a cheap keyboard at all.

Comfortable, portable, compact, well-built keyboard
This is a well-designed product.It paired very easily with my Samsung Tablet and Samsung Phone.The keys are comfortable to type on for it being so compact.The keys have good travel and they look durable.When folded – the width and breadth are quite small, although the thickness is a bit more than what I expected – nothing bad, but whih it was a bith thinner.The mechanism at the hinge is impressive.I am typing this review on my phone using the keyboard.This will be a nice keyboard for travel.Keys are quiet as well.

Fancy Foldable
Love this thing. I bought this to replace a logi pop keyboard that I got tired of toting around. I am a bit of a keyboard snob (love my mech keyboards) but this one is pretty good. It’s easy to set up. It’s easy to switch. It says about 3 seconds between presses but it takes a 1.5 for me. Folding it makes me feel pretty important and fits nicely in my bag. Maybe cargo shorts too. No double pressing or lag. It’s not quiet but it has a softer busy sound like any laptop keyboard. I feel I got a pretty good deal and no issues linking it to my iPhone and IPad. The only complaint I have is the hinge where the spacebar gets in the way. But honestly it’s going to be there on most foldable keyboards. Props to you if you type spacebar with the left since it will be a nonissue then. Also the phone stand is pretty solid. Had to take my pop socket off but it’s sturdy.

Turned my Fold 7 into a legitimate workstation
This keyboard genuinely surprised me. I picked it up to pair with my Galaxy Z Fold 7 and it has completely changed how I use that phone. Propped up in flex mode with the XK04 in front of it, the whole setup feels like a proper micro workstation rather than a phone trick.The fold mechanism is solid with no wobble or flex when typing, and the key travel is better than I expected from something this compact. Bluetooth pairing was instant and has stayed stable across sessions. The PU leather cover doubles as a stand and keeps everything protected in a bag without adding bulk.Typing speed comes up quickly. There is a short adjustment period to the layout, but within a day or two muscle memory adapts. Build quality feels durable and the whole package is impressively light given how sturdy it feels.If you have a foldable phone or tablet and you want to actually get work done on the go, this is the keyboard to grab. It earns every star.

Pleasantly surprising
When ordering this keyboard I figured it’d be a typically cheap and poorly made product like many other budget tech on Amazon. In reality, this is a very well-made foldable keyboard and I was surprised by the quality. Very responsive, very light, and folds to a great size. Comes with a nice charging cord as well. Great packaging. Set it up in about 30 seconds and was immediately usable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a portable keyboard — works great with my Lenovo Legion Go

I bought this folding keyboard mainly for its compact and lightweight format (I use it with iPad). It fits easily in a bag, unfolds within seconds, and provides a typing surface that feels very close to my 12” MacBook (2016) or the Magic Keyboard for iPad. The keys are comfortable and pleasant to use.Once unfolded, it feels like a full-size keyboard, so I don’t get the sense of being cramped. Even the slightly off-center space bar doesn’t bother me at all. The hinge falls under the right thumb, but that’s not an issue for me since I know what I bought and I accept the small compromises that come with a folding design. The build is entirely plastic, so of course it doesn’t have the premium aluminum finish Apple would offer, yet for the price I am genuinely impressed by the engineering behind it.Battery life has been perfectly fine so far. I sometimes type with the keyboard on my lap, for example on a plane, and while it can feel a bit less stable, it remains functional. The trick I found to prevent it from bending in the middle while typing is simply to support it with my thumbs underneath. It’s easy enough to do and doesn’t affect usability.I also customized it to fit my needs: I use a Canadian French layout, so I added stickers for certain keys, and I covered the brand name printed across the space bar since I didn’t like it showing. These small adjustments make the keyboard feel more personal.Overall, this is an excellent compromise between portability, comfort, and price. I was pleasantly surprised by its quality and practicality. It’s not as solid as an Apple keyboard, but for what it is, it works very well and I can carry it anywhere without hassle. With the added reassurance of a two-year warranty, I feel confident in my purchase. For now, I am very satisfied, and it’s proving to be a great little tool.
