I bought this Bluetooth speaker system for my living room. Design is super retro modern I love the sound and the quality. Easy to connect easy to use has high-res audio Bluetooth built in chrome cast as well.

A well priced speaker that I feel punches above it’s price
So I got this for my bedroom since I only had a tiny speaker and I like to listen to peaceful music as I work my way into going to sleep. The speaker looks pretty elegant but retro as well with it’s wood body and metal feet. It was very easy to pair and setup and it even has the ability to connect to Google home and WiFi. The downside of this is whether you have it on or off it will always be drawing power to power the electronics for those things. It’s not much at about 3w but some people don’t like vampire draw so something to be aware of. The max draw seems to be up there around 18w when the bass hits hard and the vocals are as well. I assume people will get this for playing music louder than me so I tested that. The problem is that my comparisons are to a home audio entertainment system and our cars that have nice radio systems. I would say that it maintains clarity up to the top and tried diligently to provide bass up to that point but on the higher side of the audio the bass seems to not be able to keep up as much but it does do a pretty good job. You can feel the what I assume is a woofer push air in and out as hard as it can but it’s just a small speaker so I’m not going to judge it by that frankly. Anyways it’s good quality from a high quality brand and seems to punch above it’s weight and price so seems worth it to me.

Looks great but just OK sound
This is a lesson in form and function. First, the form:Very stylish retro futuristic and the kind of thing that looks great in an office or an Airbnb. I have mine behind me on a shelf in my office and it stands out. Kudos to the designer.Outside of form, the price has to be mentioned. The speaker is currently ~70 and truth be told, there are a lot of bluetooth speakers out there at this price or better. What sets this speaker apart, is that it can be added to your home network and you can cast to it. Network connectivity at this price point is almost unheard of.Now the function:Does it sound good? It sounds OK. Nothing that will blow you out of the water. So what is wrong with it? The bass is muddy and I am not quite sure there is a mid range. This is disappointing and it seems they spent more time designing its appearance than ensuring its sound matched how good it looks.There are much better audio only bluetooth speakers out there at this price point but you won’t find network connectivity. So if you need the looks and the connectivity, look no further.

Good sound quality out of this small speaker
This review is for the Solis Audio Retro SO-6000 Bluetooth Stereo Shelf Systems Speaker Hi-Res Smart Wi-Fi Wireless Speaker.Okay, this speaker system does have that retro look with the wood grain and peg legs, just like the TV’s back in the 60s and 70s. Setting this up was pretty easy, just find a place that’s near and electrical outlet, and just plug it in. Syncing it to my phone was easy as it paired up right away. The speakers are controlled by whatever you have attached to it so there is no remote that comes with it. There is a five button control panel on top of the speakers that turns on bluetooth, volume control, and play pause.I was very impressed with this speaker system. The sound quality is very good coming out of just the one speaker. Loudness was solid and I was able to control the volume via my phone. I was about 20′ away and I did not get any distortion or pauses in the sound quality so the bluetooth connection seemed to be pretty good.Overall I’m satisfied with the retro looking bluetooth speaker system.

Dependable for everyday use
I ordered this speaker for my kitchen so I could listen to music and podcasts while preparing meals, and it works great. Great Sound, Stylish Look and Gets Loud
I’m honestly impressed.The sound quality is excellent. This speaker can get really loud without completely losing clarity, which surprised me for its size. It fills the room easily and works great for music, podcasts, or even just background noise while doing things around the house. It’s powered by dual stereo speakers and a solid amp, so it definitely has some punch. The design is another big plus. The retro wood finish looks clean and modern at the same time, it actually looks like a piece of decor instead of just a speaker sitting around.Setup was simple, and I like that it has both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi with Chromecast built-in, so you can stream however you want. You can even connect it with other speakers for multi-room audio, which is a nice bonus.
