Very compact but has terrible built-in fuse
This travel adapter is compact and versatile but it has built-in fuse which I have never seen in other travel adapters. The fuse needs replacement if blown. There’s no extra fuse provided. It’s an inconvenience to worry about blown fuses. If it didn’t have the fuse feature, I would’ve given it a 5 stars rating.

Go Anywhere and Take your Electronics with You
This is a universal travel adapter, and smaller than most I’ve used. I am from Europe and often go there to visit my parents, and it is great to have a way so I don’t need to ask my parents to go look for a charger for me. With this, I just have two C and two A USB ports for charging. And it even has a two prong US outlet on it. It’s only 17W so do not put anything on it that uses heavier power, but it would be good for a a small laptop for example.It has all the plugs that are needed to go around the world, if I’m right. (I’ve never gone around the world so I can’t be 100 percent sure.) You can set them by the sliders on the side. Now these sliders regulate the power through the device so you don’t want to have others pressing against the part where the power is coming from. The sliders lock automatically, to move one you have to press down on the button and then slide. To be safe, make very sure that only one of the sliders, the one you need, is fully out so the plug shows, and the others have to be all the way on the other side, not any further forwards.There was another thing that had me worried which is why I dived into it. The page is saying at the same time that the plus is 17 Watts and then the next paragraph says it can handle 2,500 Watt. This had me really worried because you’re not supposed to put a 2,500 Watt device on a 17 Watt source, there could be a fire. Looking further into it, the 17 Watt is about the USB ports. It probably diverts that 17 Watt from the higher amount available from any power grid in the world so you can charge your phone and other USB items.Apart from that 17W, the adapter actually passes the power directly through to the device you plug into it. It does not convert the power type!! Appliances you plug into the AC socket need to also be able to work on the power type of the country you’re in. Nowadays many appliances do, for example I have a C-Pap that can handle anything between 100 and 240 V with alternating current. The entire world uses alternating current because it is much better for long distance transmission. And with a 100-240 V power brick, you would be able to use it in any country.If you plug something in that was not made for the power type in the country you’re visiting though, it could cause a big fire! In my pictures you’ll see the sticker that was stuck on the item when I unpacked it, and it’s important to stick to these instructions. Also there are a few appliances that you should not use, even if they can work on the power type, because they go over the 2,500 W. A lot of these appliances create heat. Heavy duty vacuum cleaners can sometimes use up to 3,000 W. One Electrical burner for cooking will probably stay under 2,500 W but two in one appliance are likely to go over the limit if they’re used at the same time.You probably want to avoid using it with the following items that you probably won’t have in your suitcase: electric ovens and many electric clothes dryers. On the other hand the things shown in the second image as compatible can indeed be safely used with it, a hair dryer, even a microwave could be used safely. The other items they mention won’t draw very much at all, it is creating heat that takes the most electricity.This will be a great solution to bring on my visit to my parents to just change the plug on my C-pap power brick to a European one, and to be able to also change my devices. Their instructions are pretty clear, they have added extra warnings on the device itself, and the adapter is smaller than most I have used (I put a mint tin next to it in the first photo so you can see the size). I give it five stars.

From Overnight Charging to Outlet Gymnastics
If the listing is accurate, both the 17W and 65W versions weigh the same. Which makes buying the 17W my personal travel fail of the year. It’s fine if all you need is overnight charging for an iPhone, Watch, and AirPods — but for fast charging or anything beefier, it’s frustrating. The 65W is the only logical choice.Now, let’s talk bulk. This adapter is heavier and bulkier than my slim 65W GaN charger plus a dedicated travel adapter — combined. Which is objectively silly. And yet… I still like the “one cube” approach. It’s mentally easier to pack and deal with, even if it does feel like carrying a mini dumbbell in your bag.Performance depends a lot on where you are. In London, it worked beautifully, snug and stable in the outlets. In Germany? Total nightmare. Plugging my 96W MacBook Pro power brick into the front socket had the whole adapter tilting and sliding out of the wall like it was tapping out. I ended up resorting to a power strip on the floor, and even then, it sagged at an angle that scared me enough to unplug it every single time I left the room. Reliability should not feel like a trust exercise.And here’s a crucial PSA: this adapter does not convert voltage. There’s even a warning sticker to remind you — but then the product photos show a blow dryer. That’s borderline reckless marketing. Almost no blow dryers are dual-voltage. A few have a little sliding switch, but if you forget to flip it before plugging into 220V? Congratulations, you just bought yourself a smoke machine.Bottom line: skip the 17W, grab the 65W. Yes, it’s heavy and bulky. Yes, German outlets made me nervous. But if you want fewer things to pack and don’t mind babysitting a little, it’s still a strangely compelling travel companion.
