Set up is tedious and WiFi is subscription
If you want WiFi to phone or text it will cost $40 per year for ever. Much of the app is in English and Chinese. The instructions are terrible and in useable.I felt taken advantage of because there is nothing in the description that mentions the subscription. The yearly fee is more than the cost of the sensor

This little water/leak detector is a powerhouse! I love that it can sit flat on a surface to detect leaks from the bottom, or be hung on a wall using the extension probe for hard-to-reach spots. The extension makes it perfect for areas like behind a washing machine or under a sink. It runs on just two AAA batteries, and the alarm is extremely loud – 100db – which is more than enough to hear even from my basement.The dual detection modes are a great feature. I can use it in standard leak detection mode or switch to water level monitoring mode by plugging in the extension probe. It connects to WiFi through the TUYA app – the same app I already use for my keyless entry doors – so syncing it was quick and easy. I already trust this app, so it’s nice to have my leak detectors and smart locks all in one place. The TUYA app sends instant notifications if water is detected, and I can even check alarm history or label each detector so I know exactly where the problem is.It’s built tough too – waterproof, rust-resistant, and made of durable materials. Installation is simple with no screws or drilling needed, and its small, discreet size blends into any space. For the price, this detector offers amazing peace of mind and flexibility. I now have reliable leak protection for the area around my sump pump, and I’ll definitely be ordering more units to cover bathroom sinks and more areas of our basement!

Hoayvkj 100db smart water alarm.Very loud and sensitive.This little unit worked well for me. It’s very loud. There’s a sensor on the unit and one on the wired probe too. They are both pretty sensitive at detecting water.It can be paired with the app for more features.I placed this next to my water heater. Works great.
