Excellent Peace of Mind – Reliable and Easy to Use!
I’m extremely happy with this WiFi Water Leak Detector system. The hub paired quickly with the three sensors, and setup through the app was simple and intuitive. Within minutes, everything was connected and ready to go.The floating water leak sensors are very sensitive and detected even small amounts of water right away. I tested them in the basement, under the kitchen sink, and near the laundry area, and the alerts were instant. The wireless siren is loud enough to hear throughout the house, and I really appreciate the email and app push notifications—perfect for when you’re away from home.The build quality feels solid, and the compact design makes it easy to place the sensors in tight or hidden areas like bathrooms or under sinks. I installed this WiFi Water Leak Detector set in my basement and it works perfectly! Setup was fast, and the sensors connected to the hub and app without hassle. Pure junk. Contacted tech support to just get the hub connected to wifi. Instructions were all encompassing and did not address my specific problem. Probably AI generated. I’m returning it. If it’s this difficult to hook-up I can only imaging what its like to try to use it~

Sensors detect water fine with great range along with email notifications,.
The hardware works fine or as expected. However the app Rainpoint Home appears to be designed more for lawn irrigation and controlled or interfaced with 3rd party apps such as Alexa to control watering schedules. The review for the App aren’t great, but then again, they also were more for lawn irrigation. The unit does NOT come with AAA batteries (2 required per sensor) or the USB type A 5 volt power supply so you need to plan on having those items prior to setting up or installation. If your power supply is a type C, you will also need to provide that cable. The Gateway Hub 2.4 ghz wifi install or setup is pretty straight forward. Be sure to click on the ME icon; Settings and turn on the Alarm Events. If you register the device on their website, you are suppose to get an extra 2 year warranty or 5 total. One thing that irritated me is that the Sensor manual instructs you to install the 2 AAA batteries (not included). When you select your hub within the app and select to add Device (sensors) you will discover that you need to remove the batteries and reinstall them to make a connection between the devices when prompted for pairing. So don’t install the batteries until you are ready to pair the sensor (with the back removed) to the hub. They do provide a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the back. Scan the QR code on the back of the sensor or just select the model from the list. Pairing went flawless. Then reinstall the back cover. You can edit the sensor name to give it some meaning. I tested each sensor by placing it in a small amount of water in a saucer. I got email notifications for each test but only got an App notification if the app is on or running. When the app is closed, it does not give you a push notification. I have a Pixel 9 and confirmed all notification settings. There are also notifications for low batteries or you can also just check the battery status within the app. I do not know at this point how long the batteries will last. Be sure that for your email notifications to come through, you have added the domain as trusted or not junk. I did not check the range for water detection to the hub, but the manual states 853 feet in ideal conditions. I did not have any problems with the range for my home. Not a 5 star because I don’t like being told to install the batteries, but later find out they should only be installed when prompted during pairing and also I only get app notifications when the app is running.

Great Detectors!
These leak detectors helped me create safer places in my house because I recently noticed some leaking under the sink. The setup was surprisingly easy. I placed the sensors in the basement and under the kitchen sink, and now I get instant alerts if there’s even a little bit of water. The app is user-friendly and works excellent with WiFi. It’s small, discreet, and feels well-made. I hope I can have them early

I tested this water leak detector, and the alarm sound is quite loud and clear. Then connecting to the app, remember to re-insert the batteries: the pairing must be completely within 20 seconds of doing so. It needs 6 AAA batteries, which are not included in the package. So far, the device has been working reliably and performing as expected.

Easy Leak Alert System That Gives Peace of Mind
I was looking for a device that could warn me about water leaks before they cause serious damage. We had a leak at night once, and it ruined our flooring. This WiFi water leak detector is exactly what I needed. It was very easy to set up, and the mobile app sends alerts even when I’m not home. The siren is loud enough to get attention quickly. I also like that it sends email and app notifications. The pack includes three sensors, so I placed them in the basement, kitchen, and bathroom.
