Easy water alert device. Loud screaming warning tone that can be adjusted lower with phone App. Basic wifi phone controls with no subscription service but option to buy expanded controls – which I don’t need. Sends phone alerts upon water incident. Great customer support!

Large selection of melodies. Nice to be able to set 5 volume levels to work best with the melody selected. Works great in our condo. It’s the epitome of “Plug and Play”. Nicely designed, unobtrusive, exterior. 2032 Lithium ion battery for call button is probably the most common of all the Li batteries and will last several years.

Deceptive Description about Subscription.While this is a good device and “Technet” does not require a subscription, their listing is misleading. They talk about the use of a “free” app. That, itself, is true — the catch is that the app from Tuya, will only flash a notice on the screen of your phone, but if you want a more alerting text or phone call, you DO have to subscribe. It is Expensive! $35.99 Annually each for phone or text alert!

Each detector requires 2 AAA batteries. They come with batteries and a little tool to to make it very easy to change batteries.They are just slightly too big for the space in which I intended to use them. They are a great value so I can find some other places for their use. I do recommend!

does exactly what it says on the box, and works well.It has 4 sensors underneath, see the pictures, and if any two sense water the alarm goes off, which you hopefully can hear in the video.It is fairly small as you can see, and uses two AAA batteries supplied, which are easy to fit. I have immediately placed one under my kitchen sink, as I have a small but persistent water leak, and I am trying to find the source.As you can hear in the video, the alarm is piercing, so can be heard a fair distance away.I have given my daughter one for underneath her shower, as she is having a similar problem.If I had known these existed, and for the price, I would have had them ages ago.I have not been able to check the longevity of the batteries, but will report back hear. Up to now mine have been on for a week and working fine.

The TECKNET Water Leak Detectors have been a surprisingly valuable addition to my home. This 3-pack offers excellent coverage, and with batteries included, they’re ready to go straight out of the box. Setup couldn’t be easier – just place them near sinks, washing machines, or anywhere prone to leaks. I have placed mine under the bath, under the washing machine (it’s been acting up recently) and one way behind the units under my sink where all the pipes are.Each unit is compact, completely wireless, and discreet, but don’t let the size fool you – the 120dB alarm is piercingly loud and comes with a flashing indicator light, making it virtually impossible to miss. The dual-probe design is a clever touch, detecting both dripping from above and pooling water below. The detection is done, I am pretty sure, via the metal “legs” of the device. As soon as it can conduct between any two legs it means that there is a conductor between those pins(legs), usually water. Very smart and inherently simple device.Build quality is very good, they have a good weight to them and are themselves waterproof. With over two years of battery life and a low-power warning, they are very low-maintenance guardians against costly water damage. Highly recommended – 5/5.

At the time of this review this set of three leak detectors is currently out of stock from this seller so there is no price currently attached to this reviewthese arrive individually wrapped in a cardboard box.three sets of two AAA batteries are included, not installed.The detectors click closed and can be reopened with the small plastic tools provided or a simple flat head screwdriver.i ordered these because i had a small unnoticed fresh water leak behind my inbuilt toilet, most annoying because the leak has damaged the carcass and its difficult to replace because the worktop prevents the front part being removed.I have resealed the water pipe and after using a dehumidifier have put everything back together for now until i can tackle replacing the grey MDF front.i have attached a video of the alarm units i received and one assembled with batteries and tested.basically there are four metal sensors on the back will detect a water leak, it can be tested just holding them in your handOne sensor will be going inside the unit seen in the photograph, batteries should last up to two year and beep when low ..If you are thinking of buying a set i would recommend it, I hope the video and this review provides a bit more relevant information and is helpful

A neat set of three robust water leak detectors. The package contains the required AAA batteries and a couple of blue opening tools. Simply press the opening tool onto the slot to open up the alarm case so that the batteries can be fitted. The TEST button on the front can be used to switch the device on or off, and also control the volume of the alarm. The English manual is written well and easy to follow. If you are like me, and use cheaper electricity at night for the washing machine and dishwasher then an alarm like this, on the floor close to the machines, is great for peace of mind while I sleep.

I ordered these because we’ve had a few incidents where an upstairs bathroom tap has been left on and the overflow has not been sufficient enough and so it’s gone all over the floor and into a downstairs room. I’ve now placed one of these great little devices next to the sink where I know the water first goes if it starts to overflow and it works very well. It is very loud and could be heard all around the house so I’m sure it will help us to stop it early if it happens again.I was also impressed that it includes the batteries needed (2 x AAA per detector) and these apparently will last up to 2 years. The only thing is – the instructions state that it just beeps a few times if the battery is low and not sure how persistent it is (of course the battery could run out if we weren’t to hear it – but we use the room often and I will test it periodically anyway).I’ve tested all 3 and they all work as expected. We have one now also near the kitchen sink as we’ve had a couple of near incidents there too and it works well there too.These are great early warning detectors if you place them in a position where water will be detected before it starts causing serious problems. They are very loud and easy enough to reset (just pick up and press the test button and clear the contacts of any water).Overall – we are very happy with these. The price for the 3 pack was just under £20 at the time of review which is excellent for the early warning protection it gives against leaks and floods. Thank you 🙂
