Plug in Panel – Cord Length
I was really excited to receive this product. When I received it and open the package, the cord is about 10 feet long. The reason I chose the plug-in model was so I didn’t have to hardwire it into a wall but I can’t really understand where you were supposed to hide this 10 foot cord. I called customer service and they said that you would need to hire a professional to splice the cord, but part of the reason I chose the plug option was so I didn’t have to hire a professional to wire this into a wall. This is so unfortunate and such a faulty design that I can’t fathom how your product team didn’t think through the cord length especially when you show in the photos that the cord between the plug and the product is maybe a half a foot . Unfortunately, I’m going to return this.

Not an easy setup, could not connect to Sonos or Lutron
I’ve been on the hunt for a reliable smart home hub for some time now, sampling various products along the way. Recently, I decided to test out both the Brilliant system and the Amazon Echo Hub. After some consideration, I chose to stick with the Amazon Echo Hub. The Brilliant system, though sleek and featuring an attractive screen, failed to connect with my Sonos speakers and Lutron lights, making the setup process more challenging than anticipated. Consequently, I opted to return the Brilliant system.

Great for using to control Sonos
We use this in the Kitchen and it is the best Sonos controller for selecting music and changing the volume using the slider control. Also love walking by and seeing our chocolate lab pictures on the display.

Good in theory. Poor in outcome
For such an expensive project that has such a large social media marketing presence I was wildly disappointed with the slow and clunky user interface and limited workings of this product. It tried to summarize multiple smart home apps into one thin screen…yes in theory would have been great but it’s slower than your Alexa echo devices or Google home. Save your money. Wait for a better upgrade or watch a 12 year old on YouTube teach you to build one on a raspberry pi. Brilliant tech…hardly.

Faithless company – ignored by tech support
Very buggy. Nearly impossible to set up. Completely ignored by Brilliant tech support. Device unusable. Never again!
JPS –
Does not support Apple HomeKit
It says it supports it but only if it is directly wired. Stupid.

Please reconsider
I literally spent thousands to outfit my whole home with brilliant home control switches. I have 5 single panels. 1 double, , 1 triple and 6 or 7 of the ones without screens. 4 out of the 5 single panel screens have failed. My double failed, and 2 of the ones without screens failed. Basically only 1 of my single and my triple screen still work and a couple without screens. So heartbreaking. It was awesome at first. Now, No support. Can’t just buy the screens. Just a lot of money wasted. Please look into other options. These are very very pricey and don’t last.

WiFi stopped working
Limited integrations and can no longer find a Wi-Fi signal even though a 2.4 GHz access point is 10 feet away. Company is bankrupt so good luck getting help.
