Make any supported switch “smart” without rewiring — Control rocker switches & one-way buttons from your phone for bedroom lights, fans, or appliances you don’t want to get up to reach — not for toggle/mini switches, touch panels, or stiff/aged buttons.
App control + built-in timers that keep running — Set on/off schedules for morning coffee routines or nightly shutoffs — schedules run in the SwitchBot app without needing your phone nearby or a hub once set.
Bluetooth control included; Hub adds voice + away control — Use Bluetooth for local control, or add a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately) for remote control + voice control (Alexa/Google Assistant/Siri) and IFTTT — 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi required for hub features.
Fast, tool-free install with stronger hold when you prep right — Stick it on in seconds with included adhesive — for best results, mount on clean, dry, smooth surfaces and allow 24 hours for full bonding before heavy use.
Choose the right mode for the job — Use Press Mode for button presses; use Switch Mode for pushing/pulling rocker switches (Switch Mode requires an add-on) — plus scenes and ecosystem automation via the SwitchBot app and API.

    Great and convenient
Great for our espresso machine that needs some time to warm up in the morning. This was easy to program and schedule. Recommend for anything that may need to be turned on that doesn’t have WiFi capability.

saved me a ton of $$
This device has saved me from buying two wifi circuit boards for failed Chamberlain openers. Their “MyQ” software is the worst I’ve ever tried to make function. After multiple trips up & down the ladder, their software determined I need 2 wifi boards @ almost $200 each. I wasn’t doing that. Theses little rocker actuators solved easily and cheaply. I made a bracket and installed over half of the existing door opener button on both. Now, I just start the app on my phone with bluetooth on and I choose between Door 1 or Door 2. Perfect!

Easy Setup Smart Button for Bluetooth-Based Home Assistant Control
The SwitchBot Bot paired quickly with my existing Home Assistant setup over Bluetooth and worked without needing a separate Hub. I’m using it to automate a rocker switch, and it’s been reliable so far. The built-in CR2 battery was included and can be replaced easily—nice touch for long-term use. Setup was simple with the app, and it adhered securely using the included 3M pad. Great little automation gadget, especially if you don’t want to mess with wiring.

    Software needs update
Creative idea, but software is thrash. Scheduling doesn’t work well, and no log for scheduling press.

Good Way To Remotely Operate Rocker Switches
I needed to make a couple of hardwired lights in my kitchen able to turn on and off remotely. With an app as well as by voice with Alexa. The easiest way without changing the switches rocker switches themselves was to go with these SwitchBot’s. I guess they call them Finger Bots. Installation was easy enough and they work as advertised. The adhesive on the tab which pulls and pushes the rocker on and off seems really strong and not likely to fail. I’m mildly concerned about replacing the battery when the time comes; I’m hoping the front plate just pops off without having to remove the entire bot. Overall I’m pleased with these and they are reasonably priced. *Edit* I forgot to mention that in order to make the Switchbots controllable with Alexa you’ll need to also purchase their Mini Hub. Without it you can still control them with the Switchbot app on your phone or tablet.

    Needs custom range of motion/swing
Surprisingly little customization. With my rocker switch, the “on”, pushed in position is roughly flush with the Switchbot. Because the Switchbot arm dips ~ 3 mm below its base, it actually tears itself off my wall.Furthermore, the Switchbot attachment/tab to pull the switch is very short (~ 1/4 inch diameter loop), so even if I elevate the Switchbot to accommodate the on position, that elevation makes it too tall to maintain contact with the pull attachment/tab. It tears the tab off.The next version — if it comes to be — needs custom range of motion. Or at least multiple attachments to better configure it to your switch. After tinkering with it for a couple hours, I’m getting towards a haggard solution. But in its current state, I can’t recommend this product.Update: Yeah, after 4 hours of tinkering, I can’t get this thing to pull up on the switch. This device is trash to me.

    Switch bot controller
Works good but you have to be in bluetooth range ( within 50-100 ft ) , for uses outside of that youll have to buy additional equipment.

    Works as Expected
I used SwitchBot Bot to automate a 20 year old gas fireplace. It is the kind with a hard wired low voltage switch. I could not just install a normal smart switch as they all work with 120V power. This was the easiest and simplest way to do it. Now we have the ability to ask Alexa to turn it on and off and we can use a SwitchBot temperature meter to monitor the temp and when it hits the point we want, the app shuts it down. We have not set it to turn on automatically when the temperature drops yet as we just like to do that when we want it.
