very convenient wifi temperature
Easy to set up and works great! No hub needed, just connect to WiFi and monitor everything from the app. Alerts are super useful, and I like being able to check temperature remotely. Very convenient and accurate!

AVOID! First, this sensor cannot be used to trigger events in Alexa. While it can tell you the temperature when asked, the Alexa app will only allow you to trigger a routine using humidity. This appears to have been a problem for along time, and is unlikely to be fixed anytime soon.Second, there are no instructions. After much searching, it turns out this is actually a “CozyLife” WiFi only sensor. You will need to download and install the CozyLife home app to configure these and add them to your network, and then enable the cozylife skill in Alexa to integrate it into your Smart home system. Again, as of 4/7/2026, this device does NOT allow you to create a trigger based on temperature, so forget about setting these up in a bedroom or other location and using them to turn on/off the AC.

Works well, it’s easy to place anywhere I want. Its kind of tiny, but its working great, it has humidity alarm which can remind when its dropping to the specific threshold.

12-31-25 Cannot get either sensor to pair with my network in all the diffrent modes to add. ive never seen a tuya send out a diffrent hotspot with a name “CozyLife– etc) all the many units I have put out smarthome “smartlife—) tuya etc anyway couldnt enen manually pair with 2 diffrent phones etc.I have over 50 smartlife devices working fine and all paired simply. These have a software glitch ! or similar.

Stopped working after 22 months
I bought a pair of these 22 months ago. One of them has gone bad now. I changed batteries but still unable to pair.

Accurate sensors with a small app timing quirk
These temperature and humidity sensors were easy to connect and appear to be providing fairly accurate readings based on my comparisons. With the devices side by side in an incubator, after 24 hours they were only 1 degree different in temperature and 2% different in humidity. Not great for my incubator but fine for normal use around the house.One thing to note is how the app updates settings. Any changes you make in the app won’t show up immediately. They only appear after the device transmits data again. If you check the app before that next transmission, it may look like your changes weren’t saved, even though they were.Once you understand that timing behavior, the sensors work well and are reliable. Overall, these are solid sensors with just a small learning curve in the app.
